I could kiss you brother!

Thank you so much!

That's not necessary.  ;)  But I appreciate the kind words.

Death Guard added - man, these are flying by!  What a productive weekend.  Cactus is helping now too - he's working on Alpha Legion currently.

Who's next?

He means Night Lords, not Alpha Legion. But then the Alpha Legion would say that... :teehee:

Haha sorry about that - Night Lords.  Getting all my Legions mixed up in my head...

Sorry about the errors guys - that's just what it looks like.  Server is over-quota.  :(  I'm close to finished with the Iron Hands too - I will get them added tomorrow and hopefully the servers will open up by then!

As always - any requests for the next legion?  Only a few remaining it seems - Salamanders, Iron Warriors, Alpha Legion, Imperial Fists, and Word Bearers.

(Night Lords and Iron Hands are WIP)

Thanks for this Millicant!

I have been trying to modify the old incomplete Battlescribe Heresy list for a while, but haven't had much success.

One thing I've noticed:

- Legion Tactical Support Squad does not have an option to equip an Augury Scanner.

Also, are you going to add the Graviton Gun upgrade option to all the applicable units when you finalise the Iron Hands list? (under the Head of the Gorgon RoW, all IH units that can use a Flamer can upgrade to a Graviton Gun for xxpts)

The Iron Hands Head of the Gorgon RoW also gives unique dedicated transport options: Any unit of 10 or less can take a Landraider, and unit numbering 10 or more can take a Spartan.

Derp. I can't seem to access the files as a repository. Or do I have to physically download the file? If so where to?

I'm quite inexperienced with battlescribe, was building my own catalogue but some things threw me off and I shelved the project.

Okay, Iron Hands are complete and uploaded!

@LaCroix: Unfortunately I'm saving Alpha Legion for last. With their special steal-everybody's stuff shenanigans they'll be easiest to finish once everybody else is done. Also XX legion is the last legion. thbbbbt :tongue.:

@thepager: Sounds good, Imperial Fists being worked on now.

@wolfabio: Alrighty, they are on deck. :smile.: And per HH:LACAL, Age of Darkness FOC is standard. Others are for fun/special scenarios.

Thanks for this Millicant!

You might want to check again brother, the Legion Tactical Support Squad Sergeant does in fact have that option. Listed just as it is in the book: trade for Bolter and Augury Scanner.

And yes, just like every Rite of War, I am making all the options that they offer available. As well as the restrictions, where able - however those are not typically possible.

Just to double-check and make sure, Centurions coming with artificer armor standard instead of power armor standard is an actual change in the Crusade book and not an error? They don't have to upgrade from power armor anymore?

Whoops, that was an error - good catch! Centurions do not come with artificer armour, they do have to pay for it. Fixed. My bagel.

The only things I've noticed is that Kh

So here's the deal with Khârn, as well as every HQ with Master of the
Legion.  There is some goofiness there due to the wording.  I've sent an
inquiry to Forgeworld asking about this issue.  Namely, can anybody
with the Master of the Legion rule take a bodyguard, and if so, can
specialist bodyguard units (like Justaerin or Deathshroud terminators)
be taken for their respective legion's HQs? Depending on their response,
I will fix this.  On my to-do until then. Either way, another good
catch which will ultimately affect quite a few entries.

I can clear that up for you.  Page 189 of Betrayal, "A model with [Master of the Legion] may also include a Command squad as a retinue as part of the same selection on the Force Organisation chart."  So yes, Khârn may have a command squad.

Things become a slightly less straightforward after that, but there is enough to come to a conclusion about the rest.  For instance, Loken could never take a Justaerin command squad as Favoured of Horus requires that the 'praetor' they be purchased for have Terminator armor.  Likewise Favoured of Mortarion for Deathshrouds. But, we might surmise that any unit with Master of the Legion counts as a Praetor for these purposes (see Typhon's entry, page 228 Massacre.  to wit, "Note that he may have a Deathshroud bodyguard."  This is not a special rule permitting him to take one, but a reminder that he has MotL and is in Terminator armor, and thus fulfills the requirements for taking Deathshroud as a command squad).

Darn I was hoping the Contemptor was as golden as it Looked! >.< does this mean the mortis one is up too?

Nope Contemptor is correct.

Unfortunately it isn't quite that simple.  The wording changes very slightly in HH:LACAL and HH:LAICL, namely in the Retinue rule.  As these two are the most updated products from Forgeworld, I can't base this on HH1 or HH2.

That being said, I'm fairly confident that it's a typo in the Retinue special rule for Command Squads and the intent is just as we believe - any Master of the Legion may take one.  However, the more important question that I've sent to forgeworld isn't about basic command squads but the specialty command squads.  Typhon has a specific allowance to take Deathshroud terminators. Can Abaddon take Justaerin terminators?  We shall see...

Either way I'm not going to edit the catalogue until I can do everything - it is far too much work to undo/redo something as complicated as the command squad entry until I have a clear path.

ok just submitted a report abut chain axes on github for you millicant.

was writing lists up at work when i realized i couldnt see any options for my fav weapon.

First, thank you for submitting an issue from the link.  That is extraordinarily helpful.  :tu:

Second, this is an interesting one.  I specifically left it out due to the wording of the rule: "Any model with the Legiones Astartes (World Eaters) special rule which has access to a chainsword can instead take a chainaxe for free as long as this is appropriately represented on the model." (HH:LAICL p21)

Now, my reasoning was this: similar options throughout the book specifically state that they must be included on the army list, while this option only requires being modeled.  My philosophy was that a World Eaters player would take it for granted that chainaxes were an option and not wish to go through the hassle of choosing which models had a chainaxe on an army list.  Essentially, a World Eaters player may read "Chainsword/Combat Blade" as "Chainsword/Combat Blade/Chainaxe."  Down the road if re-naming entries becomes possible (not currently projected by creator) then I would go back and make the entry append "/Chainaxe" for those who have selected the World Eaters Legion.

Additionally, almost any method I would use would necessarily preclude the mixing of chainswords and chainaxes in a unit, although this is possible (again unlike other Legion-specific upgrades, which state that the whole unit must be equipped).

If this makes sense to you too - great!  If not, please tell me why and we can reconsider it as an option.  This is all about the end-user after all.  :)

thats fair enough Millicant.

my world eaters have a mix of chain weapons atm including characters.

i just took it for granted it would have been an option and forgot it didnt cost anything to upgrade.

i agree with you now i've reread it. good old what you see is what you get.

thank you for the quick reply

i should probably start working now lol

Hi Millicant!

Thanks for pointing that out - I spotted it shortly after I made my post. However, the Bolter & Augury Scanner should be seperate options AFAIK, unless that part of the Sergeant's upgrades has also changed from Betrayal.

I have submitted it on github as well so you can keep track of it.

Sweet!  Thanks for submitting it - that's very helpful.

Now, I looked it over and ultimately this is a version issue.  The options available are correct per HH:LACAL p33.  Looking back at HH1: Betrayal one of the major differences seems to be that every member of the squad (including the sergeant) is now equipped with a flamer by default.  Hence, the need to exchange it for a Bolter and Augury Scanner comes into play, as well as the rest of the changes to the Sergeant's options.

Oh and I have added the Legio Cybernetica maniples as elites for the Iron Hands Rite of War as well - it will get uploaded when I finish the Imperial Fists (later today).

Damn, so it looks like my Support Squad Sergeants will either have to sacrifice their Graviton Guns or their Augury Scanners...

A real shame as the scanner is very useful for deterring drop pods/teleports etc, but would mean that the Sergeant goes back to being useless weapons-wise compared to the rest of his squad.

Thanks for clarifying that for me Millicant!

Imperial Fists added.

Good news everybody! The author of battlescribe has released the beta which incorporates hiding entries!  The proper release is close on its heels as well.

This means two things:

1. I will be working to correct every Legion-specific unit/entry/hq/option/etc to be hidden until that legion is selected.  This will yield a significantly cleaner interface!  Hooray!

2. Unfortunately, I will be pausing adding legions until the next full release of battlescribe.  Instead of adding legions to the current edition, I will be making the current ones hidden in the beta so the catalogue will be ready once 1.14.01 is released. This should not be too long - don't fret!

Thank you for you kind words and invaluable feedback on errors in the catalogue.  Please continue to point out anything that is incorrect!

Edit: Just realized that I accidentally left it named "AALegion Astartes."  Whoops. That's a little tool for me that got left in there - it'll get corrected next release.

It is finished!

Latest release includes ALL legions and uses the LATEST VERSION OF BATTLESCRIBE which you must have in order to properly use this catalogue.

I'm very excited that my many hours of work have yielded this, please let me know of any change that must be made by submitting a NEW ISSUE so I can fix it!  Anything - points wrong, misspellings, bad options, etc.  I want to know!

Thank you to Cactus for working on the Night Lords!

Alright well that's it - I'm very excited to have this released/finished!
