Like, I'm gonna call now that the Shepherds don't get one, and the Legions that do field them have a couple dozen at the very most. It's sketchy enough on the tech-heresyometer that if Abyssii don't cater to a Legion, that Legion ain't gonna see it because no other Mechanicus sect is touching it. Especially with Icarion wanting to get Kelbor-Hal on side, which could mean pressurising the VII to loosen their ties in exchange for increased supply from Mars and elsewhere. Â P.S. As Raktra says, it can be seen as "just OP for the sake of it", and rules break the awe. Like how many recent AdMech books only describe stuff from the Codexes (all ten of them), it makes the galaxy a smaller one. Slips Posted April 25, 2017 Share Posted April 25, 2017  Also, Profile for the Heavy Beamer? :P Another point of note is that, per the 40k FAQ, if a blast/template weapon has skyfire, they can actually be shot at flyers iirc.  The Heavy Beamer already has stats in the HH books, it's the one that can be mounted on Predators and iirc Contemptors The FAQ states the exact opposite:  Q: Can a Swooping Flying Monstrous Creature or Zooming Flyer be targeted by a Blast or Template weapon with the Skyfire special rule?
