Can't say I'm interested in the starter set tbh.

Seeing as you are one of our most positive influences in this sub-forum may I ask why? I and leaning towards disinterest, simply because the army is 100% Primaris Marines. Which makes me feel discouraged since I'm stillnassembling plastics in which some cases are less than 2 years old. Does that have anything to do with it? Or is it simply the models themselves?

I'm just curious, I'm not asking you to justify your comment, merely curious if our viewpoints are aligned or if it's just me.

Mainly because I don't want the models :)

The book and gubbins are of interest but I can probably get the former elsewhere and do without the latter.

We don't know what we can and can't use in our army wrt the Primaris and as I don't want, need, or have time for another army the jury is out there. Meanwhile my backlog is still at around 3k BA alone...

DG I've no interest in and whilst it's true I could swap them or the sell them on, swapping is hindered due to the previous paragraph, and selling is an unknown seeing as eBay, etc, will be flooded with them meaning I may not recoup much.

Which brings me on to my next point: I'm broke and even with buying from a third party it may be too much of an outlay... Especially when I've got some Daemons coming in (ordered for seventh edition but now summoning looks a right baal-ache)...

Those gun shields would have to go. Makes zero sense to me.

Having said that, I'm hoping to get myself a box. The DG would either be sold or traded but I want the rest. Alas, I think this one is going to be above the 200 dollar mark so I may have to settle for someone's marine half and get my own rulebook. Hell, probably should just get an index and leave it at that.

Apparently they are on there because the pistols are "mini Heavy Bolters", according to the facebook page.

I love em, personally!

I like the DG and have some knocking about from 4th, pop in Mortarion and some other support units and I'd have a decent army ready to go!

I won't be getting the starter set either. I (and expect most other people) will be seeing what works/doesn't work, dusting off old models and adding/removing weapons before even contemplating buying the new stuff.

I don't mind the jump pack guys, i hope there is an option to have a chainsword.

Do you guys think this will be all snap fit?

I'm on the fence with the starter, i was hoping for actual marines and some primaris not just primaris, i would probably end up selling it all and just keeping the jump pack guys

Reckon they are classed as pistols?

They're called "twin assault bolters" so I'd guess no.

I'm assuming a single profile for both weapons, half the range but twice the shots of the intercessor bolt rifle. rapid fire 2, jet pack makes them faster.

And my goodness they look good in red and yellow.

Reports coming in that this will knock us back £95 even if I order it from Darksphere (£71.25 excluding postage) I still doubt I'll recoup enough from the DG to make the outlay worth it...

(£30 at best given the market will be flooded?)
