Here's a nice group photo of Arkham's multiple lives. That wraps up Lucifer's Challenge.

 

Just in time to start with the B&C Reforged Contest. I'm vowing one of the Space Marine Heroes that I had already primed, but never painted. I wouldn't have for years to come, so this seemed like a nice way to save him from the pile of shame. Although this looks like I'm just starting, but I'm in the final sprint to complete the model. It just took some time to update my own thread.

Finished up my entry for Brother Tyler's contest. Since the goal was to showcase improvement, I decided to push my skills in painted tiny squares and freehand a lot further than usual. The Legio B&C-scheme is very similar to my scheme, but it was fun to paint something different nonetheless.

Took me a while, but I managed to finish up the rest of my heavies. I bought the kit for the challenge, and didn't want the rest to go to waste. This is the first squad of my Consecrators that are truly done! Now I'll have to go through my vast amount of models and add their markings and Chapterbadges. It took some experimentation, but I believe I found the fastest way to add the badges. I'll start with my dreads, the larger markings should give me some more time to get the hang of it.

Dude I hate how crisp you black highlights are.  I have a few black terminators to paint soon and I’m dreading it :(  also the checkers on the redemptor

Entered another Event, so I'll have to place my plans on hold for a while longer. But I managed to finish the least interesting dread of the bunch.

Black is easy! If your highlights are too thick, it's super easy to touch them up with more black. Other colours are way less forgiving.

I'm embarking on a new Challenge in the WIP-forum, organised by BC Kage, since these events are usually the times I get the most done in a reasonable timeframe. Now I have to build and paint a Dreadnought in three weeks time. Easily done by a competent painter, but I'll have to do some effort. I usually spent months with a model this size, since I'm a very slow painter. Let's see if I'll manage before the deadline.

 

While I was going over my Dreads that still needed some work, I took the time to photograph my first Leviathan with a fitting background, camera, etc... for the Hall of Honour. You've all seen it before, so I apologise, it should be the last time I'll post it in here.

Hey Brother, I love all your work mate, not just the OG stuff. But I am super excited to see your work on the best Levi ever made by FW.

And I fully expect to see pics of it standing with your current one as they hunt heretics.

Found a pose I was happy with, so I glued it in place! Already primed by now, now I have two weeks left to paint! Shouldn't be too hard, right? 

I have to say, it's kinda insulting that the new lads tower over the Leviathan.

I finished him up, took pictures and noticed some parts I missed. Pictures should be up tomorrow. While we're waiting, I managed to photograph my updated Punchnought. With this all my Dreads are updated with transfers and Company Markings. Next up, some infantry!

Thanks buddy! You know I love me some chequers. It's a shame that the '1' imprint on his chest stopped me from painting even more.

I have to say, the DA-kits from FW are damn amazing to work with. Don't forget to paint up your FW-Knights in the near future
