Beautiful work mate. Really love how these are coming out.

Absolutely fantastic work on them, looking forward to seeing more of them.

Thanks brothers! I'm glad you like them i having one hell of a time painting them, there're really awesome and full of character :)

These are amazing! Especially love the faces.

Go for the 5 o'clock shadow. It'll add to the grittiness you have going already.

Thanks a lot brother! I see that everyone is for the stubble, so let's go for a stubble!

Thanks for checking guys!

Anamnesis

This thread's a great inspiration. Keep up the good work that you're doing mate.

Thanks brother! If I can motivate some people to paint then that's all the better for the community :)

In the mean i present sergeant Stubble and his buddy before weathering, which is all that's left on thoses guys !

They look superb!

I'd love to see a tutorial on how you do faces :biggrin.:

Thanks brother!

Ask you shall recieve

For stubble, just mix a bit of vallejo dark sea blue ( or dark reaper/stagadon scale green from gw) with you base color and lightly glaze it, after a few layer you should see the effect :happy.:

I've done it a few month ago but if people are interested, i could update it for the next face i paint for my primaris?

And that's also my primary vow for "from rage to salvation" done!

That also mean i finished 2 complete squad of trooper which is a miracle in itself :teehee:

N.B. I need to redo the trim of the base, the pigment fixer made some shiny spot on it...

C&C most welcomed :smile.:

And a quick news on the two lieutenants i'm working on, i'm tried my hand at freehanding the skull on the knee pad, which is a pain, but it's not too too bad

Let me knows what you think!

Cheers,

Anamnesis

Nice freehand.

Thanks!

Very nice indeed. I could see a squad of these making a finals spot at GD at the very least, clean edge highlights, neat blending, solid freehand, nicely judged weathering and consistent quality on each one. Bravo Anamnesis

Thank you very much, that's some high praise :blush.:

We are getting close now, i need to decide how i'm going to finish the sword with the power cell

Otherwise just the weathering left :smile.:

Wasn't sure on the white stripe on the helm, but in the end i love it!

I may do a quick break after that to paint my skellies from shadespire, but should be quite quick to return to my aggressor!
