Hi there!

 

I am just dropping in to let you guys know that while I haven't been able to post on the last couple of days due to a crazy amount of work and basically only being in for 4- 5 hours of sleep between on call duty and looking after my wife and mother-in-law, I am keeping it together and am totally ok with you, brothers mine, taking over Sabaan to squash a few cultists there.

My Mother-in-Law is going into surgery this Thursday and if she is lucky, that is that. Now I just have to pull through the rest of my on-call duty week and then I will have the weekend off to catch up on your exploits!

I know Xin is pressed for time as many of cheerless our band of murderers are, if he makes no objection I will write up actions and a post for both him and myself, although my technolequence will obviously be lacking - I will try and harness the Medusan contempt for the alien scum as best I can to dispatch these foes!

 

Akkad may do something too.

Totally ok with that! I am still trying to catch up on recent events of our brave kill team but am really hoping I will be able to return this to normal levels soon.

Mazer, just a note that the traction engines are approximately 50m from Sabaan.

 

Understood Mol - will change things up a bit - would Akkad be able to explode them with Heavy Bolter fire?

I think long range and extreme range could feasibly apply to grenades.

 

With reference to the traction engine, it has an armour value and structural integrity value as per the vehicles in Deathwatch and Only War. The Heavy Bolter can plink off wounds, but will have trouble damaging it. It is more of an anti-personnel gun!

I think long range and extreme range could feasibly apply to grenades.

It's why we need to get Akkad a M34 Auto-cannon...

 

Yes they are only S/3/- but man do they pack a wallop at 3D10+8 Impact Pen 6 Clip 20 and reliable.... also they are Ogryn proof too!

 

They make a great dual purpose weapon in the RPG family and TT.:yes:

Forgot to mention the optimal range of 300m, twice that of a Heavy Bolter...

:facepalm:  To easy...

 

But to ignore the comment about range, it's the hitting power that puts it in a whole other class, it is a serious threat to elite / master level foes at 3d10+8 Pen 6, average should do around 11-13 damage depending on hit location to an Astarest in most marks of PA, with 11 being torso and 13 being any where else.... Also having reliable means it only jams on an unmodified roll of 00, so you shouldn't jam as often.:whistling:

That works, but the M34 can be found on tri-pods too...:wink:

 

They are a fairly common weapon with Imperial Militias, Chaos Space Marines and Imperial Guard Regiments...

Post finally edited. Wasn't EXACTLY sure what I wanted out of a "Blessing of Sanguinius" Prayer type deal so I winged it :tongue.:
