One delivery so a month ish

Thank you Halandaar, so what is the actual wording on the letter?

Not sure yet, as I haven't received the delivery it's in. I just know to expect it because the letter I got last week from Hachette confirming they'd taken my money listed "S2 Opt-Out Letter" as one of the items included in it. I then subsequently got this via email;

Should receive the delivery early next week to be able to share the wording of the letter.

I just wish we could get a warhammer community level deep look at these things before they come out rather than glimpses, its the rest of my toy budget for the month at a stretch so i really cant just roll the dice on them :/

Imagine it has rules...

I'd be extremely surprised, if only because Conquest hasn't introduced things like Chapter Tactics, Warlord Traits or stuff like that at all yet. It's only recently even included the 40k core rules and a few datasheets.

I am not happy at the 19.99 price tag but with the art book I reckon we can resell it for more.

I was expecting it to be the same price as the art book, so £5 extra is a bit of a nuisance, but yeah, if you are inclined to re-sell it, you could probably get more than that back.

I’ve just discovered that, as a (re)subscriber I don’t get the gifts. Not a big deal but I did want the binder to store the issues in. Does anyone know if you can buy them separately? I’ve seen them on eBay but they are crazy expensive.

I seem to remember people talking about getting an opt-in letter for a second one. Do non-free gifters get that option too?

I have no idea sorry Burni, the first one should come with issues 27-30 (Costs £7.99). Best way to find out would be to contact them.

Did you re-subscribe at a later issue or did you restart when you ended? Seems :cuss if you missed none that you do not get the gifts.

Yeah no opt-out letter on the folders its in the small print of the subscription. You need to call up to cancel the extras. The only items that have the letters are the 3? Premium items.

If I am unsure I always try to contact them, compared to the start where I had to wait well over a week for an answer I get responses in 2-3 days now thankfully. I had a damaged issue that was replaced without hassle last delivery. One good thing about being a month behind is that I get to see any problems coming :S Thank you to all the uptodate subscribers <3

This is nothing to do with the premium stuff. Premium items are the boxes that are the extra £1.50 per issue, these are extras that are offered to everyone at an additional cost.

This is the second book that has been an additional cost to the subscription - this time we got an email informing us of the upcoming expense, as opposed to a letter being mixed in with the invoice that comes with the issues.

There may have been a letter also, I’ve been away for a few months and have a backlog of stuff to open, I haven’t got to the Conquest stuff yet.

I think having an email rather than just the letter is probably better, it’s more prominent in people’s minds.

There are two Premium "Brands" in this subscription.

1. You pay £1.50 per issue for 4x Boxes over the course of the subscription.

2. 3x Premium Special Issue releases over the whole subscription which you are opted in to but will get a letter to cancel.

The folders are part of the normal subscription in the small print and unless you contact them you will get them.

Please read the first post its all there.

Yeah, I’ve read it

I think you’re confusing the “special issues” with the “premium subscription”

Special issues - open to all, cost the same to everyone. The Astartes art book and the upcoming Templar’s book fall under this category

Premium - an extra £1.50 an issue. NOT open to everyone.

Premium =\= special issues

Other than that, I think we’re both saying the same thing mate

They called them premium special issues when they mentioned them first in a FB post, thats why I call them Premium Special issues, they cost a premium.

No Dog house from what I have heard they are only available to subscribers, they won't be in stores but you could always call them and ask as things can happen. If you do please tell us what they say so we can add it to the thread.
