I've been hunting for toy cranes that might fit AT scale for terrain or at least the lattice structure to build up. Sadly I don't have space to store anything, that's why I was making collapsible paper buildings.

These could work, might need to rescale a few bits but for a large crane it should fit

You can also look at some of the model boat stuff. I found this product, the scale is 1/350, not sure it would work:

Probably worth exploring their catalogue for other potentially interesting things.

Also http://www.goldmm.com/ could have some interesting things.

In Titandeath we see several new Titan classes/variants introduced by name:

Rapier Class Scout - lighter, swifter than a warhound

Nightgaunt - smaller than a Warlord and according to lexicanum a sub class of the Warlord equipped for close combat. Dedicated titan killer.

Carnivore - lexicanum lists FW Heresy book 5 tempest as a source, has anyone got a page for reference?

Not finished with the book, but this is what i´ve read so far.

I´m really looking forward to having these fleshed out. It seems, as if they are preparing to built up something for Titanicus.

What are your thoughts and wishes about those?

The Rapier would probably be the pre-Slaanesh version of the Questor and/or Subjugator. Would love to see it with a closely related aesthetic (of course less Slaaneshy)

Definitely loving the idea of a close combat titan killer, hoping to see a warlord-sized chainfist, and also an inferno gun bigger than the one available for the warhounds.

I expect we'll see a couple additional models in January.

I don’t think I want anything smaller than a Warhounds tbh, I find Warhounds fragile enough as it is and require careful positioning. Also I really hope “Carnivore” isn’t a real name...

well if these "Rapier" class Scout Titans are the single 360 firing arc carapace weapon on legs that I've seen some speculate the 'smaller then a Warhound' scouts are going to be, then they'll be an interesting tactical choice; a glass cannon of Titan-on-Titan warfare.

and Carnivore isn't the worst name for a Titan I've heard, most are fairly simple things once you look past the history attached to them, the majority are prefixed with "war"(Warlord, Warhound, and now Warbringer, with Reaver being the odd one out, and "Carnivore" isn't weird next to that)

I wouldn't say no to a quick small Titan with a 360 Plasma on top. Could be very useful

Nightgaunt is in effect was warlord without shoulder weapons - usually armed to smack down other titans in melee.  In the original Adeptus Titanicus, that is.

Seems like that'd be easy class to add.  Little bit of armor on top that could be snuck to an another warlord sprue. Slap some rules that with fewer weapons the warlord is faster, say... as fast as reaver.

Just starting in the novel myself, thanks for the list of potential new kits!

I’m pretty sure Andy H himself said about there being a lighter than a Warhound class on a live stream, so the Rapier fits and is something we could see.

I'm more interested in titans that are between reaver and warlord sizes myself. I feel like engines smaller than warhounds are creeping into ground best left for the knight houses to cover.

that's the Warbringer Nemesis that just came out in 28mm scale, presumably that will be getting an AT version as well in the future, hopefully along with alternate carapace weapons.

Imperator homerules

I'm thinking that it should cost 1k pts have same or higher armour than a warlord with twice damage capacity. Souped up arm plasma and gatling (+1S?) The carapace would sport 5 of the same weapon including warlord arm and shoulder weapons firing ahead. Scale 15 and 12 void shields.

Honestly when I was assembling my warlord, I was nearly tempted to leave off the carapace weapons. Carapace-less warlords look cool as anything and some rules/loadout reflection would be great.

RE: other new titan classes, Titandeath does mention a siege titan, a "heavy model equipped for battery, with a wrecking ball for one hand and a multi-headed drill on the other, both shimmering with disruption fields". The individual titan's name is Atranican, no legion or pattern identified, and it's described as heavier than a warlord. In fact its march at the walls is escorted by a pair of warlords, striding at its shoulder.

Could be a new class then, larger than a warlord if not by much. Could just be a callback to the original AT game though, the lack of a pattern/class name suggests it might not be in the pipeline.

Is it just that my search-fu is weak, or have they taken down the preview of the forthcoming new Reaver kit (with the chainfist and new head) from WarCom?

I thought it was here,

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/11/12/12th-nov-coming-soon-from-forge-world-new-titans-knights-and-morefw-homepage-post-2/

but I can't find it there or anywhere.

I hope that doesn't mean the kit will be delayed.

Enjoying the novel so far. I think some Legio Solaria based on the characters in the book are in my future. If they do plates of them in the campaign book I’ll definitely be ‘doing a Semper ’ and recreating them in plastic.

Also after reading about the Knights of Procon Vi manning the battlements of the Titan conveyor during a void battle to repel boarders, I really hope that a new version of BFG gives us the ability to recreate that in game!
