Shadow Captain Vyper
The above would likely be acceptable, but I have a few comments (as a former TO myself): 1) Raptor Green with Deathwatch pauldrons and iconography should be no issue - I would allow this for sure. Just make sure not only paint but models/bits are distinctive between this detachment and your Raven Guard one. 2) BA SCD - Personally, I don't feel you need to bring in elements of Red/Gold and Blonde hair to justify this. I would however bring in some thematic element to justify their savagery in comparison to the chapter-at-large. I had considered a similar detachment to run alongside my Raven Guard, and for my "head cannon" I was considering running my BA SCD as Moruturi/Moritats and giving them an appropriate amount of corvia and other grim/death related icnongoraphy. The parellels between Death Company and Moritats are definitely present. Alternatively, you could review the various Blood Angel successors and use one of their paint schemes (I feel like the burgunday/black of Flesh Tearers would pair nicely alongside olive drab). Remember: The key is to have them be distinctive and visibly different (at a glance) from 3-4ft away. 3) You can definitely do this. As other's have mentioned, if you use Lias, you can't use the RG Warlord Trait/Relics. You can however paint in Raptors olive drab, use Shrike, RG Warlord Traits and Relics, if you DONT use Lias (this is under the rules as counts-as). There are lots of Salamander green Ultramarine armies out there. :) The key is to just have each detachment visibly different, at a glance, from a tabletop distance. If the difference is to subtle, you will get flak/push-back from players, especially those you beat that are sore losers. Yeah I'll need to make sure it's not just the left shoulder pad icon that's different, but I'll add a small amount of highlight colour (different from the green) to indicate their detachment. Dark Red for BA, Black for Deathwatch. Possibly on the kneepad behind their squad number. Race Bannon
Those JP are giant looking. That's not a bad thing  The preview pics don't really help me so I'm looking forward to seeing your work with them. Dracos
I like the jet packs. They’re definitely scaled for Primaris models. I’ll probably grab something like it with wings when I start doing characters and my counts as Shrike. thewarriorhunter
Those things are huge... wow... I do like the chainsword that they're showing on the guy with the jump pack. That would make a sweet Teeth of Terra. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353701-task-force-green/page/2/#findComment-5261743 Share on other sites
ambit
Smash Captain assembled and undercoated. Same with the Librarian Dreadnought. Watch Master also done (the gravis captain I converted him from was already mostly painted). Also did an Interrogator Chaplain or Wolf Priest w Jump Pack. Nearly finished the ancient and company vets with the big jumpacks. Will post them when undercoated. Have the 3 squads of DW Intercessor/Aggessor/Inceptors/Hellblasters assembled too. Need to undercoat them though. See page 1 re: the explanation for Blood Angels detachment as Raptors Moritat and the Deathwatch detachment. I'll work on updating the Raven Guard detachment with the Shadowspear box once I know their points values. ambit
I love the camouflage pattern on the Watch Master's cape. Thanks! I plan on replicating it on all the other cloaks - like for the Phobos units. Looking back at those photos, the undercoats look terrible close up like that :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353701-task-force-green/page/2/#findComment-5272953 Share on other sites

You might not see it in these photos, but the right knee pad has a 3 on it, as this guy is in squad 3 of that detachment. Need to clean up the paint job though, really shows up all the flaws in these close up photos Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353701-task-force-green/page/2/#findComment-5273997 Share on other sites

Brother Quixote
Not sure about the smoke trails for astartes jump packs. I always imagined them as cleaner and thus more stealthy. Well, as stealthy as a rocket propelled power armoured superhuman gets! Sturdy looking though, which is always a massive plus. I'll be bearing them in mind for if I get around to doing some ork stormboyz so thanks for sharing.
