Well don't sweat the Awareness rolls, that for stuff outside the cage really, and it would be easily explained by the bash on the head you took.

For the rest, yes there are a handful of rocks, and s tick within reach of the bars.  The cage is close by a couple of pegs and a thong, nothing high tech.  The Ork you saw looks more like a trapper than a Kommando.

One of your legs is badly injured, potentially broken. Aside from painful bruises your arms and upper torso is fine.  Back is intact, but sore, from all the tossing and turning the river put you through, so 1 Level of Fatigue (also from being half-drowned).

Otherwise, you have full motion and range of your limbs.  It just hurts like hell.

Finally, you're downriver.  Way down, but you're on the right side, (ie, you crossed) you can just see the peaks of the mountains you climbed down with Halbast, so you've lost about a fifth of your progress and a couple of hours of your time.

Sounds good, I can work with this... wait, how thick is the stick? Could Scarlett bang the rocks together to chip one and use it to saw through any of the bindings to tie the cage together, failing that make a crude knife out of it. Lastly is said stick thick enough to turn into a brace with some torn clothing to bind it to the leg?

I'll leave the stick to fate.

D3 Result:

1 = 1cm

2 = 2cm

3 = 4cm

Fair good sir?

The rocks are hard enough to knap, certainly, but it would also be loud.

Easy to write off the loudness of the rocks as trying to irritate the Boyz.

Rock of chance: 1d3 2

So 2 cm thick, I can make that work.

Place holder filled.

True.

Just be careful they don't make a drummer in their new "Rock and Trollz" band...:cool.:

Okay, a couple of questions:

Size on the Buggy? Is it as it is in book? (Enormous)

Big Shoota (-/-/10 2d10+5 Pen 2, 120m)?

Distance?

I'm working out what I need to rake it with the gun, maybe get lucky and disable the buggy.

Apologies, I'm diving (not driving! ;p) about :smile.:

Yes to everything, distance 40-45 metres, given variances in terrain, gear changes etc...

Since you're driving through swamplands, visual distance will be fairly close to medium.

EDIT: The buggies themselves are flimsy, they're just covered in spoilers, vine cutters, greeblies etc...

Any use?

He certainly does.  The codes will be current with your pack of maps you took from the command bunker.

EDIT: I didn't realise you meant code-challenges, I had a serious case of the derp, apologies.

The codes would be known by regular troopers at least, and from the uniforms there's at least a Corporal and a Sergeant lurking about, so they would certainly know.

Your challenge is: Melancholy.

The correct response is: Moonlight.

Expires/updates every 12 hours, so this is well within time, the challenge is mainly for Imperial force recognition and returning to defended lines, as the Orks aren't expected to be bothered about codes.  Its one of the few areas of slack on this front.

As I said before, there are also code-names for people and units, but that would certainly be NCO and up, Vox ID's etc.

  • Bishop 6 is the 145th Artillery Battery at FSB Sawtooth
  • Knight 4 is a Valkyrie-borne 116th Stormtrooper Battalion
  • Rook 2 relates to the Recon Platoon known as "Hell's Devils", a jungle unit of the Catachan 21st, also on the moon.

Any use?
