JoyToy 40k - compilation (updated Jan 4, 2022)

JoyToy seems to have a surprising amount of artistic license to "kitbash" things which don't exist in the main GW range - they already put out an Imperial Fists Lieutenant which had a Deathwatch-style Storm Shield as opposed to the one the baseline BGV kit uses.

just from my experience on working on Dawn of War 2, Dawn of War 3, and Age of Sigmar: Stormground, GW isn't so interested in the licensee being rulebook compliant as long as the licensee's design is rooted in the miniature designs.

So, like, making Primaris Blood Angels veterans with chest plate designs based on iconography from the earlier Blood Angels catalogue? Giving Primaris Space Wolves storm shields and hammers that are from Thunderwolf Cavalry kit? All of that is fair game.

Any sign of them doing "regular" custodes?

Non-terminator custodian guards were on the 2023 timeline video that was posted a couple pages ago, if that's what you mean

P.s:

I suck at posing but still, have to admit after finally finding the time to mess around a bit with it i 'm more than satisfied
