Yea what are you supposed to do if you want the eisenhorn edition and Sigismund. That’s obviously going to be impossible, or at the very least a huge risk you won’t get either.

Since they upped the print run of the HH Characters, is it still going to sell out that quickly? That's pretty much the only book I plan to buy. I don't remember how fast Valdor and Luther did go.

I’m not sure how limited Eisenhorn is. It was included in The Outposts newsletter yesterday so it seems like stores are getting it too.

....and now they also put G&F: Vampireslayer onto Audible. Of course, also for the 26th. BL/GW have absolutely no idea how to pace themselves. They should at least not put backlog titles (as much as I appreciate them!) onto the big celebration release day, but stagger them. Announce them for the celebration, spread them over the following weeks.

I hope we'll see some more releases getting listed on Amazon after the Celebration - and some decent announcements for the event.

So they showed the cover for the regular hardcover of Siege of Terra: The Awesomeness, I wonder if we can take away from that that it will be a simultaneous release again?

I would be very surprised if it isn't, after they did so with book 6.  They also do it with their other major ongoing series Dawn of Fire.

The situation with Warhawk was a bit different as GW was, in a way, forced to release it since certain retailers started shipping the regular hardback copies before GW even had the LE on pre-order and people found out GW is purposefully keeping the books printed somewhere in the warehouse for months. The DoF was announced officially from the very beginning it's going to be SE and straight to paperback, completely skipping the regular hardback.

I only hope GW seeing the Warhawk LE (technically SE now) still sold out within a few minutes they might change their approach and release the Limited edition along the regular.

The SoT #7 hardback has been up for pre-order from various retailers for months already, publication date listed as May 2022.

For those interested in digging up more into it. The SoT #8 is also already available for pre-order. Publication date is stated as Sep, 2022. (feel free to look it up, ISBN is 9781800261204)

Good detective work - and lets hope you're right with GW/BL seeing how quickly book 6 LE sold out and decide to do the full release at the same time. It'll be so difficult for people who don't get the LE to avoid spoilers otherwise.

If that date for the Abnett book 8 regular hardcover turns out to be correct , it definitely suggests simultaneous releases for LE and hardcover for these last 2..

Coming Soon page updated:

- Pariah special edition, matching Penitent style

- Dawn of Fire: Throne of Light special edition (& PB)

- Soul Drinker: 20th Anniversary Edition special edition HB

I’ve stayed away from the Eisenhorn and Ravenor LEs, but I think I’ll pick up Pariah. Its beautiful and it would be nice to have the trilogy as a matching set.

Edit: no sign of Echoes of Eternity. Presumably it’s a May release.

Happy to see they keep updating the page. I'm definitely getting Soulslayer and Throne of Light SE.

I agree the Pariah cover is awesome but haven't decided yet whether I'm going to get it. For me, it is the weakest book in the whole Inquisition series.

Either its a May release or they have not announced it like they used to do with the Limited Editions.

However it definitely seems ( also with the Simon and Schuster blurb and date you mentioned in the other thread) that they are doing the LE simultaneous with the regular hardcover.

I hope anyone who didn't already pick up the special edition of Angel of Mercy isn't deceived by the copy for the hardback making it sound like it's a Dante novel. He's not even in the book, unless I'm forgetting a flashback scene buried in there somewhere.

And who's this "Guy HAYley?"

I don't know if anyone here anticipates or even wants the book or not, but does anybody think that a Horus Heresy Limited Edition book on the character of Calas Typhon who became Typhus would be a great future release? I am aware that this ventures into speculation and is not part of official "upcoming" books, however, I would love if Typhus ever got a single book on his alien overlord origins which may reveal that the powers of Nurgle and the warp are alien in origin and connected to a rare species i.e. the overlords, similar to the fact that the Laer whom Fulgrim defeated were also alien beings who worshipped a Chaos deity, so maybe Chaos is of alien/Xenos origin and this angle could be explored in future books.

I would adore a Horus heresy Typhus book which discusses his secret psychic powers and his hidden origins, as well as his activities with the other psykers in the Death Guard legion whom he kept a secret from Mortarion and let us not forget if we ever get a chance to read how Erebus influenced Typhus in the warrior lodge meetings about becoming a chaos worshipper, that would be sweet.
