@A.T., split up or stick together?

If we do split I would sugest it makes sense for Bardas to take Sector B as we can continue to use the Auspex to help in his search after giving Falk all he can on the Sector A locations

IIRC there was the possibility that the location of this warehouse might also hide access below sector B so that will be something best left to Bardas to scan for initially.

The Upper House:

Great drops of sweat fall from Valkyrie's brow, and her body rocks unsteadily as she powers up from her knees, bracing herself with a wide stance, her palm slaps onto the bolter and she struggles to pull it, hair suddenly lifting, all her movements give the appearance she is deep underwater.

"Leave!" she growls through clenched teeth. The bolter cracks.

Her target, the noble Magda Aldario, so porcelain and so delightful lifts from the ground, hair trailing behind her, caught in a storm. Everything slows down. Light glints from the bolt shell, the colours suddenly vivid and bright. Beads of Valkyrie's perspiration turn to glimmering diamonds.

"Vermin! Just more Rats!" Magda calls, swimming out of the way of the bolt shell, lunging for the Battle Sister.

With a slow hand, Valkyrie picks Restal up from the floor and hurls him at Reynard and Nicios. The order, no a plea, becomes long and drawn out as darkness spills over the throne room, eclipsing even Valkyrie's holy nimbus of faith.

"Go!"

The doors are locked.

Kraevus Aldario exhorts the guards, whose stupefied faces rasp into snarls as they launch for the three Agents, staves and blades coming.

Gentlemen.

Initiatives.

There wasen't quite the righ Reaction avilable, good luck you all.

Spoiler

@MG: Did you roll 100 twice in a row?

Fear Test, target 29, Roll 100 would indeed be 7DoF

Then you roll a second d100 for the Shock Table and add +70 for the DoF?

Yes two consecutive rolls of Treble 0 on Percentage Dice.

It's a good job that Kerr Restal has WP 39 and not WP 29 or it could've been a Lot Worse.

So that's where my dice ended up.

I am confident the others can save you.

I'm out for another couple of hours, it's been too long since I've been in a fight scene and I need to go home and check my book...

I'm thinking Autogun, though - either FAB or maybe Suppressing Fire to pin the bad guys until Nicios can fry them all... any suggestions, anyone?

Stash those dice away for your next character creation :p

Just a suggestion for @Machine God, your character is down and out, but you could still do character RP, maybe a fever dream, or a memory from before. Perhaps even deepen Restal's background - why he became a killer, what motivates him, etc. It will break up some of the combat and keep you posting if you wanted to do that.

Being catatonic, I don't think you can self-revive, at least for another hour, you'll need help, so might as well dream...

Hey boss, just to check, you've written Guard 6 charged Reynard, but in the pic he's charged (and was closer to) Nicios, which was it?

If it wasn't Reynard that got charged, is he free to take whatever action as Guard 4 is down?

Also, did 1, 2 and 3 escape from being Pinned at the end of Round 1?

Edit: rereading the Pinning rules, I'm assuming they are still Pinned at the start of Round 2, and therefore will only be able to do Half Actions and can't move towards Reynard this turn, right? Then they get to test again at the end of this Round with a +30 if we haven't shot at them again?

Yep, that's all correct - they can't test again until the end of this Turn. I apologise for the PC mixup, G6 charged Nicios.  You have it exactly, I'll tidy it up in a bit.

EDIT: Yep, that's fixed now. Just as an aside, the charging rules state that you need a clear run up to charge, and can only pass over intervening terrain/chars if you can fly (jump pack for example). To be fair, Restal's sandbagging just saved you. Maybe work the irony into your next post?

Update

As long as the next closest target for the Overbleed is Magda herself rather than Reynard, I'm happy...!

(I'm pretty sure she is? Hopefully, even if she passes the Wp test, it might be enough for Valkyrie to clobber her!!! )

Noooo, Nicios is quite safe.

The guards are also convinced Reynard is the bigger threat as he has a machinegun (ho-ho-ho), and they don't know where the cramps are coming from.

Magda can feel you, though, so be careful.

Good, I think?

Very much not good. Need to get away from the scary psychic vampire lady.
