To be honest, I'm not overly impressed how they packaged it - it was in a cardboard envelope, with no padding ... thankfully, there were no dinged corners. How you received yours is how my preferred UK retailer posts books - wrapped in at least 2-ply of bubble-wrap, and in a box - and no issues so far. I wonder if some were shipped by GE, and properly boxed and wrapped. And others shipped directly by the printer or another drop shipping company. And others shipped directly by the printer or another drop shipping company I guess it's possible some were shipped by a different company, although I'd be surprised - I'm in the UK so I'd assume it came from GW HQ. They were printed in China (according to the back), so I'd doubt they were sent from the printer. Only had a half hour to check it out this afternoon but as someone who was born after it was released (albeit, the same year) it's really nice to have it. So it took them almost 6 months to work the out, what an absolute mess GW are in right now. The book is sold out and listed for a fortune on ebay. I am livid. I emailed them already but at this stage they are probably immune to angry emails given the multitude they are receiving these days.
