Alright gents, let's do a round robin - when you've all got a moment, can you post with your current Infamy and Corruption. I know I can see your sheets, but I'd like everything in one place if'n you don't mind. This is so I can balance your oppo, since your threat level has probably bounced up.

Cheers.

I am sorry.

Being executed as spies should take your mind off it, though.

Please accept this humble consolation*.

* = This voucher (Consolation Prize, hereafter referred to as 'the voucher') has a redeemable value of 0.00000001 Thrones. Zero value in New Jersey. Other consolations are available in other regions, which may include but are not limited to; punched by a drunk bear, being dragged behind a pedal car, mugged by a gang of leprechauns, thigh-strangled by a bearded lady, forfeiture of shoelaces, or being dunked into a ice-plunge pool in a Norwegian Fjord and hunted through the snow by cannibals. Redemption of this voucher signals complete indemnity against all injuries arising from any interactions listed or unlisted by any third party, to the contrary of this exclusive waiver. Your rights are not affected. Void in Swindon.

Can the fjord cannibal ride be in Ireland instead?  I've heard there are fjords there.  Or Sweden?  I don't wanna do Norway.

Also:  Infamy is 40...corruption is 26.

I'm still figuring out XP.  I am leaning towards another Tzeentch point so I can make things Facebook Official with the Master of the Silver Towers.

Xerxes: Infamy 47, Corruption 19 (taking the last chance to buy infamy with xp). Unaligned, one mutation.

I'm not trying to be a meanie but the GM rolls the percentile dice for Gifts of the Gods.

Yes, I forgot to mention that for this game, I'd prefer to roll your Gifts, as I do for Perils so I can make sure there's no conflict with anything I might have up my sleeve. I recognise the book says the Player rolls IIRC, but I've had problems before hence the oversight.

Just for future reference for our newer players.

I'm at 44 Infamy and 11 Corruption, with 900 XP total waiting to be spent (which will have to wait as I'm away from my books, but we're leaving in the morning to go back home).

Edited by Iron Father Ferrum

Hagga currently Infamy 44, Corruption 15

And I think i will probably take the Counter-Attack Talent with the latest XP reward.

Question, will this downtime be an opportunity for attempting Acquisition rolls again?

Infamy has increased, so whatever you failed to get before, you can try for again. However, without anyone to acquire it from, you have no physical way to get it (it has to come from someone, somewhere, for example) so you might have to wait until speaking to Seneschal Strabo again.

Of course, that may entail a favour.

Alternatively you can try Grenn's pirate base, where the liquor is cheap, and murder is plentiful. Also the Acquisitions go up a step (as per campaign rules) in comparison with Strabo. You could also visit a world to try to get stuff - obviously until you make underworld connections, anything Renegade will simply be unavailable. Perugia Station will also have a trader, either in the queue or aboard station.

In Imperial Controlled locations, you'll have to trade, Infamy won't fly.

Primary Objective: Destabilise or Overthrow the planet of 'Bounty'

Secondary Objectives:

  1. Subvert, destroy or capture Orbital Lading Platform.
    1. Make 'effective' landing on Bounty.
    2. Secure landing site.
  2. Subvert, eliminate or convert local production populace.
    1. Incite riots;
    2. Instigate cults;
    3. Detect, activate and support cults.
  3.  Secure, destroy, or tamper with local foodstuffs and off-world supplies.
    1. Secure 'Supplies' resources;
    2. Adulterate foodstuffs;
    3. Destroy comestible stores;
    4. Allow foodstuffs to go off-world.
  4. Abrade PDF and Loyalist forces.
    1. Eliminate or subvert PDF patrols;
    2. Destroy Arbites Patrols and materiel;
    3. Destroy the Arbites bastion.
  5. Destroy the capital, Harville.
  6. ?? Profit??

Primary objective is still on target I believe.

1. Can't really say anything about the Landing platform, out of Crux'as expertise.

2. Started and currently in-progress.

    Have "recruited" 250 various levels of soldiery, could possibly get more noble assistance in creating riot situations

    Need to provide some supplies to the more professional fighters, demolitions especially

3. In-progress.

    Some destruction from Atesh's fire. Have the locations of the Kontors for strike operations.

    May need to acquire poisons/substances to damage stores

    Could possibly use Xerxes' control of the local servitor population to load/damage foodstuffs (?)

4/5. Planning

    Use the recruited fighters most loyal to House Padruk as distraction/cannon fodder against Enforcers/PDF. Small kill teams/targeted attacks (?)

    Plan Astartes-led attack on PDF armory after distraction. Distribute some armory weapons to local recruits, load up the rest.

    Take as many of the recruits as possible to make as serf-soldiers, leave the Padruk loyalists.

    Attempt to destroy/damage as much of the Imperial infrastructure in Harville before retreating.

I will roll leisurely.

'Cor'Gail' hears your pleas, and is worried for his servant's welfare given the last few encounters. Further, he is pleased by your continued guardianship of his patronage, and in his wisdom and favour bestows upon you a Daemon Weapon, with the Bound Essence of a Horror to further his will and amusement.

Riding the caboose. Strongly considering buying Infamy at this juncture.

Just remember there's a limit on how much you can buy. Core has the number, I can't mind right now.

Kind of.

Everyone gets 5 CP because they're chaos scum. Then you get an extra 5 CP because you're an irrepressible chaos flammenwerfer:tongue:

Your Second gift is:

083 Massive Intellect..!

Your Infamy should be higher than this, Badgers. I'll have another scope at your sheet.

EDIT: OK, I got what was up. Your Infamy is 42, and your Corruption is 8. Look at you, you fresh-faced, innocent little tyke *gently squishes your cheek in well-meaning and beloved grandfatherly manner* :biggrin:

So when you get Infamy like this, it goes into your Infamy Characteristic, which then generates your Infamy Points - which works just like your other stats, so Inf Stat 42/10 = IP's = 4.

This means when you go shopping you gain four tries for stuff! Think of all the wine and goodies!

Good man - rolls coming up: Unaligned

48 - Headless, or via IP adjust;

  • Illusion of Normality (Normalcy is not a word - in cases like this folks say 'I will die on that hill' but this misses the point. I prefer to say 'I will make YOU die on that hill').
  • Flaming Skull (which is kind of cool for a Doom Eagle)
  • Icon of Blasphemy
  • Infernal Will

94 - TENTACLE!, or via IP adjust (booo!)

  • Vampiric Addiction
  • Warp-touched (not bad for a nihilist)
  • Warpsight

So a few more options all in, although headless is totally naff...

Hmm. Ok. Looks like I need to roll a Daemonic Mastery test to start, and then again if Crux'as ever loses consciousness or his Willpower goes below the Horror's.

Daemonic Master Test (Opposed Willpower)

Target - 50 + 20 (sworn to Cor'gail the Wildweaver) = 70

Roll - 27

Result = Pass, 4 DoS. Daemon will have a -5X on the Test with X being the Binding Strength

So I guess it is up to Cor'gail what the weapon's Binding Strength is (Pink Horror has a WP of 32), and what Daemon Attributes it will have (by rolling on the weapon attribute table)? Probably what the weapon is too- though given Crux'as' terrible BaSk, I think a melee weapon might be more in keeping.

Edit- Minimum Binding Strength of 1 means two rolls on the attribute tables (3 for daemon's WP bonus - 1 for Binding Strength). I think that is what will happen, since we aren't actually forging this weapon but being gifted it means that we don't have to go through the whole crafting/summoning/binding rituals.

That was my understanding - you do the generation stuff (as you have) and the thing (your preference) just appears.

Alright. Since the Horror can't pass the test with more than 2 DoS (WP 32 - 5 for Binding), I guess Crux'as gets the weapon. Would you roll 2 D100s for the Weapon Attributes? I would assume at least one roll would be on the Tzeentch table, the other can be on the Unaligned if Cor'gail wills it.

For good RP and the dedication to your patron, it pleases me to make you an offer of one of two Unaligned, and the Fateweaver's choice.

Your DWeap Attributes:

Unaligned:

  • Vicious, or;
  • Wounding

Tzeentch:

  • Illusory.

Ooh, I like. It will be a Wounding Illusory bound-daemon dueling sword, replacing his current blade. I'll work up a short post in the IC.

Yes.  Two rolls, and pick the one preferred.

71 - Nerveless Ennui, or; (may adjust by Inf Bonus)

  • Magnificent Horns, or;
  • Warped Appeareance, or;
  • Mechanoid, or;
  • Pervasive Miasma, or;
  • Projectile Attack

43 - Illusion of Normality, or; (may adjust by IB)

  • Centuroid, or;
  • Featureless Face, or;
  • Flaming Skull, (AKA the HEY GUYS, I'M OVER HERE, mutation) or;
  • Headless.

Choose the flavour of your damnation.
