Silver Skulls 2nd company decals
By Spiky Norman
These two files are homemade decals for the Silver Skulls 2nd. company.
One sheet is made to be printed on transparent, and the other to be printed on white decal paper.
The documents are made to fit Letter format, but can be printed on A4 just fine.
On the transparent decal sheet:
The shoulderpads of the Silver Skulls are black with a metal trim. The idea is to use the inverted Silver Skulls decals on the black shoulder pad, but before you put them on, you paint a silver square to fit the transparent part of the decal. That way you get a silver decal, without having to use an expensive printer that can print metal colours.
You may need to touch up the shoulderpad and decal with some black paint afterwards, depending on how accurate you made the silver area. But it is quite easy once you get the hang of it.
On the white decal sheet:
The idea is to print this sheet on white decal paper, because it enables you to get strong colours in your decals, even when put straight onto the black shoulderpad of the Silver Skulls marines.
Once fitted where you want it, you may have to touch up with a bit of black depending. But it's quite easy once you get some experience with it.

Ultramarines RT Era
By Carlson793
Rogue Trader Era logos for the Ultramarines Chapter. Includes logos for Tactical, Assault and Devastator Squads, and Officers (Captain, Lieutenant Commander, Chaplain, Librarian, Medic and Techmarine). With layers in the PDF for Officers, Blue "U", and White "U" with blue background (remember to turn on your Layers panel in your PDF program to select the various layers).
NOTE: The Officer logos are intended to overlap the shoulder pad edge, allowing the background to be trimmed flush with the pad edge.
And for those keeping score, this leaves only the Space Wolves RT Era from the old Space Marines Painting Guide.

Scythes of the Emperor Logo Sheet BOLS
By bigred
I have been noting for a while that GW does a great job of covering the major 1st Founding and select 2nd Founding chapters with their decal sheets. However, there are a number of great looking 2nd and later founding chapters who get a good amount of back-story and have great alternative uniform colors that never have had decals produced for them. In the interest of promoting diversity in the Marine community and encouraging players to branch out beyond the "big 4" and using the Trait system, I will begin producing logo sheets for some of these other chapters who I think look great and have no GW decal support.
Here are the Scythes of the Emperor. These guys are dutiful to the end, after being almost wiped out fighting against the Tyranids. They have wonderful background fluff.
I created the original logo in Adobe Illustrator, then made variations of it for size and color (outline and solid color versions). The sheet is designed for printout on Decal printer paper which is easily available online.
The thing about decal paper is that it is clear by default (instead of white), so the decals need to be applied to a light colored surface to be visible at all. The procedure for applying the "outline only" decals is to apply them to a white surface, and wait till they are fully dried. Then using the outlines as a guide, paint in the darker color around the decal. Its is odd, but gets the job done.
Size wise, the larger decals towards the top are best used for super heavies/terrain, and move down in size to the large array of Marine Shoulderpad towards the bottom.
In any case, enjoy and I wish you the best in using this set for your forces.
Please feel free to leave comments if there is a special Marine Chapter you would love to collect, but have no GW decal options, and I will see what I can do.

Rainbow Warriors Logo Sheet BOLS
By bigred
By order of the Inquisition, Open these doors!
CREEEAAKKKK....
By the Emperor, My Eyes, My eyes!!!
SLAM!
Its really hard to beat the Space Sharks for entertainment value, but I did manage to drum up one last chapter with lets say an "intriguing" history in the 40k universe. Lets hear it for the Rogue Trader era Marines of the Rainbow Warriors, the single most sadly named chapter in the Imperium.
You didn't hear it from me, but word on the street is these dudes give the Dark Angels a run for their money (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)! Now maybe we can speculate a little bit more on the mystery of the planet Prism from p.30 of the new marine codex. Enjoy guys.

In the interest of promoting diversity in the Marine community and encouraging players to branch out beyond the "big 4", I continue our line of logo sheets for some of these other chapters who I think look great and have no GW decal support.
The sheet is designed for printout on decal printer paper which is easily available online. These decals are designed for the CLEAR or WHITE decal paper. The procedure is as follows:
CLEAR PAPER: If you use the clear decals, the decals need to be applied to a light colored surface to be visible at all. The procedure for applying the "outline only" decals is to apply them to a white surface, and wait till they are fully dried. Then using the outlines as a guide, paint in the darker color around the decal if needed. It is odd, but gets the job done.
WHITE PAPER: This paper will allow you to use it directly over dark surfaces. Cut out the white logos with the thick blue borders, and apply them directly over your blue painted models. Once dry, you can go back and touch up any edge defects with blue paint.
Custom Decal Tutorial
This sheet is sized for superheavy vehicles up towards the top and scales down to marine scout shoulderpad size at the very bottom. I have included the standard white chapter logo, against a blue "easy to cut out" outline as well a small amount of inverse blue logos for folks who want some variants for something special. There is also a small set of left-right reversed logos for folks who need to use them on both sides of vehicles. Please make sure you run off a test sheet first on your printer to make sure.
In any case, enjoy and I wish you the best in using this set for your forces.

Novamarines Logo Sheet BOLS
By bigred
The Badab Series moves on... Here we have the Novamarines. These guys have a long history in the 40k universe, not only taking part in Badab, but the Damocles Gulf campaign versus the dastardly Tau, and the 13th Black Crusade versus the forces of Chaos. If you like quartered blue and bone schemes, these guys may be just your thing.

The sheet is designed for printout on Decal printer paper which is easily available online. These decals are designed for the WHITE decal paper. The procedure is as follows:
WHITE PAPER: Just cut out the decals with the blue edging and apply them to a matching blue surface. When they are fully dried, you can touch up any messed up edge detail with blue paint.

Marines Errant Logo Sheet BOLS

The Badab Series moves on... Here we have the Marines Errant. These guys have had several run-ins with their nemisis, the Red Corsairs. The chapter recently lost a majority of their gene-seed to to Huron Blackheart in a daring raid on their Fortress-Monastary on Vilamus

Howling Griffons Logo Sheet BOLS
By bigred
"The Howling Griffons take special pride in their oaths, seeing each as an eternal conflict until the deed is finished. Before battle, additional oaths are added to their already exceedingly long lists, some for the chapter and others more personal. Once an oath is taken, a battle brother goes to extreme lengths to complete it and it is never forgotten, even after decades. Completed or satisfied oaths are a badge of honor, often inscribed on parchments or directly in the armor of the Howling Griffon Space Marines."
-Chapter War; by Ben Counter
Its time for the Howling Griffons, a proud Ultramarine lineage chapter that has been with us since the days of Rogue Trader. We are doing them now as part of the Badab War campaign book, but they have a rather imposing chapter scheme of quartered red and yellow! If you fear the paintbrush, are unsure of your skills with yellow and precision edges then back away. But if you want an army that will turn heads, and get the "Wow a Quartered Army!" from the other gamers in your local shop then step right up! The Howling Griffons await! Enjoy guys!

The procedure for applying the black decals is to apply them to a red or yellow surface. With the red decals, apply them to a yellow surface and they will work. The yellow decals are tricky. Cut them out including the red outlines and apply them to a white surface. Once they are fully dried paint in the Howling Griffons red around the logos if any minor touchups are required. It is odd, but gets the job done.
This sheet is sized for superheavy vehicles up towards the top and scales down to marine scout shoulderpad size at the very bottom. I have included the standard black chapter logo and a small amound of alternative red and yellow logos for special models. Please make sure you run off a test sheet first on your printer to make sure.

Genesis Chapter Decal Set BOLS
By bigred
"First among the Primogenitors, the Genesis Chapter are dogmatically loyal to the memory of Roboute Guilliman, and can be counted on to fight at the Ultramarines' side without hesitation."
Its time to head back to the Marines for our latest successor chapter. Here we have one of the more distinctive of the Ultramarines 2nd Founding chapters, the Genesis chapter. Look in the Space Marine codex for a shot of the chapter's red color scheme.
We have been noting for a while that GW does a great job of covering the major 1st Founding and select 2nd Founding chapters with their decal sheets. However, there are a number of great looking 2nd and later founding chapters who get a good amount of back-story and have great alternative uniform colors that never have had decals produced for them. CLEAR PAPER: If you use the clear decals, the decals need to be applied to a light colored surface to be visible at all. The procedure for applying the black and white "no background" decals is to apply them to a white surface, and wait till they are fully dried.
WHITE PAPER: This paper will allow you to use it directly over colored or dark surfaces. Cut out the red edged logos, and apply them directly over your red painted models. Once dry, you can go back and touch up any edge defects with your original red paint.
Custom Decal Tutorial
This sheet is sized for superheavy vehicles up towards the top and scales down to marine scout shoulderpad size at the very bottom. I have included the standard chapter logo against an oversized red background for ease of cutting out, as well a small amount of stand alone logos for folks who want some variants for something special. Please make sure you run off a test sheet first on your printer to make sure.
