I have to say I'm really struggling with this book. I feel it doesn't really add anything to the Horus Heresy at all. And, as an aside at which point do a, the thousand sons work out that Horus changed the orders to annihilation, given that they are super duper sorcerers and all and b, the space realise that they were duped? It really is the elephant in the room. Back to the book, I've read a lot of Grahams books and always really enjoyed them, but this one? It's good to get a feel about the workings of the 1000 sons, but the Dio thing? Sure he is malcadors agent, really no need . Anyway everyone else has it pretty much covered.

Assembled my chaplain, dunked the librarian in dettol again and made two assault plasma gun marines and tidied up my sprues.

Todya as part of my vow, I finished my two 5 man assault squads, just have to add grenades and base coat. I also put a Librarian in Dettol to remove an old paint job for him to arise anew as a blood angel. A vet of the Mdusa 5 campaign no less!

I wouldnt worry too much about it being exactly the same, as it was made on a different forgeworld!

Absolutely fantastic! I love seeing scratch build stuff, after all plenty of people scratch build ww2 AFVs and there is hundreds of model kits to choose from. Whats next? Thunderhawk?Stormbird?

To be honest, the Blood Angel fluff in the heresy is probably the tightest in all the story. Who ever got the gig would have adhere a fairly strict story line. James Swallow does a great piece of work. Remember Sanguinius is next to Horus in lots of ways, and if kicks several types of :cusse out of some demon,i, BELIEVE IT. His sacrifice is the greatest of all, and thats waht needs to be kept at the front of all retelling.
