    Nice dark black on him, the highlight takes the edge off nicely What's your method for the black? I've found the Black Templar contrast paint to be a good addition to mine and am interested to find out what the new black contrast does.

    Point changes will take longer to digest, but the AoC addition is interesting. Not just in what it does but also what it means - I wonder if this was from it making some sense (why would Marine vehicles be tougher than Guard ones?) or if it was more power related. For the latter I'm not sure if it's enough to make a great difference but any improvement is welcome. I'll be very interested to hear people's feedback on this though I'm not sure if it's enough to bring my Guard out of hibernation until the new codex.

    Great to see more vows coming in, the Neurotrope is a good choice mine did very well in its first game (albeit with a retinue of Zoanthropes) :tu:

    That's a great vow Lunk looking forward to seeing them done, especially now fexes are decent. I got my first 9th game in (batrep here if anyone is interested) and was pleased with the improvements, the Parasite even did well for New Model Syndrome. I've updated my vow posts with PL levels (very low apparently :lol: )

    Almost forgot to update my own WIP :sweat: First vow for Bug's Life is done in time for the game tomorrow: I will get some better pictures of him in game, I went with an off white for the wings. I was thinking about an off black but thought it would be too strong next to the rest of the scheme as the wings have quite a bit of surface area. Now he's done I think this was the right decision, especially thinking about larger models like a Flyrant or one of the flyers. Even goyles, when all together in a squad, would probably be the same with all the wings? The Rippers who won't take too long outside of being fiddly with their small size. The Deathleaper should be another nice character project as I enjoyed the Parasite :)

    That's quite the haul, looking forward to seeing these done :D The Parasite is good fun to paint, though maybe I'm finding that because I've not painted many wings :P
