From the album: DeathWatch Killteam models
Brother Philipe Gregor (formerly of the Angels of Absolution) Gregor was made using one of the Dark Vengeance tactical marines with his head and shoulder removed to make way for the appropriate replacements and also has other bits of equipment added to make him look kitted out. Unlike the other marines, Gregor was made purely for the fact that I hadn't made a tactical deathwatch member. -

A detail shot showing the boltgun that Argus carries. I based it on the design of the upgraded one Captain Titus obtains later in the Space Marine video game which features front iron sights and a drum mag courtesy of Anvil Industries. When I get round to painting my Novamarines properly, there will be some of them wielding this pattern which I have dubbed the Graia pattern. -

This is where the last two members of the Killteam currently stand. The Space Wolf Devastator just needs a new head, whilst the Dark Angel needs a fitting arm. Rather than use the full Turmiel model I wanted to use just the main body and give him a different arm, something akin to him holding his sword at ease.-

This model features magnets in it's arms as well as it's backpack, allowing me to use him as a Sternguard.-

Detail shot of his shoulder pad, which I've just realized has the wrong colour for his lightning bolt for his chapter insigina.-

Brother Davin McTavish (Formerly of the Storm Wardens) Simple kitbash using legs from the Grey Knights, arms from the Blood Angels Death Company and some ordinary parts. The model also comes with WFB Empire sword to act as the character's Claymore. Our of all the models this one had the most extensive use greenstuff as I made a cast of the shield symbol on the Company champion chest piece and attached it to the model's chest.-

Detail shot of the model's chest, showing off the highlights. This was probably the most fun part of the model to paint and I feel it worked pretty well.-

Detail shot of the Apothecary's shoulder pad. I painted the shoulder pad in the red and black style because I wanted him to represent a member of the Sword Brethern (not sure how an inquisitor would convince a Marshal to relinguish his personal physician :S).-

Brother Apothecary Hector Rainor (Formerly of the Black Templars) This one had a little conversion work in terms of the backpack (head light was turned to match where the model was facing) but other then that, it was a straight forward kitbash using the Forgeworld MKIII Apothercary and some bits from the Black Templar sprue. Both of this model's arms are removal as well.-

WIP shot As mentioned previously, I had originally given Argus an auspex, this had come from the Sgt Chronus model. I've decided to repurpose this bit for another model.-

Detail shot of the Red Scorpion honour guard shoulder pad that I used to show that Argus is a member of the Novamarines. It's because of this that I decided to start a Novamarines force (not made much headway on that endeavor as of yet). You can also see the grenade launcher ammo pouch from the imperial guard sprue that I used to represent the additional ammo that Argus would need to carry into battle.-

Brother-Techmarine Ignance Argus (formerly of the Novamarines) This guy uses a combination of several different parts including the Ravenwing tech head, Iron Hands legs, Sgt Chronus backpack, Red Scorpion honour guard shoulder pad, Imperial Guard pouches as well as some Anvil industries bits (the drum mag for the bolter and leather straps). This was going to be my playable character for the times when I wouldn't be GM. He did have an auspex originally, but I wasn't satisfied with the conversion work I'd done with the arm, so I decided to change it for an open hand, think it helped the flow of the pose.-

Shot of the back detail for the sergeant model, the backpack comes from the Grey Knight range and the name on the script was done using a fineliner pen (wish I could paint lettering that well with a brush http://image.bolterandchainsword.com//public/style_emoticons/default/sad.png).-

Brother Davis Otarn (Formerly of the Black Consuls), Leader of Kill team Sigma Made using the White Dwarf Subscription Veteran model and the Commander Powerfist, this guy was made to represent the NPC/ briefing officer for me and my mates characters during our DeathWatch session. Outside of that he was going to represent the sergeant for my count-as Sternguard. Unlike the other members of the Killteam, Otarn's chapter allegiance is hard to see considering that a large wing pendent is in front of it.-
