hushrong
HOLY! The jugger lord is awesome. Great use of bits and posing there. That termie lord though...wowee. Again, awesome use of bits and the way he looks...he makes most marines look like infants. Also, it would be awesome to see a chosen squad of Khorne using that artwork as a basis. Despite being a large fan of Khârn I never liked the lack of armor on his one arm...but man does that guy look cool using his exposed flesh and bare hands to rid the galaxy of the weak. ElDuderino
Lovely juggernaught riders, I love how they seem to need power fists to be able to hold on:) Biohazard 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234115-biohazards-wip-projects/page/69/#findComment-4627962 Share on other sites
Biohazard
Hushrong, thank you buddy, I'm the same with the bare arms it's always bugged me a little but I have to say that artwork just feels right for a unit of khornate chosen. Like they've taken part in so many battles and gained the favour of the Lord of Skulls to the point they feel invincible so it's almost like they're taunting an enemy to take them out. Another thing I love about that piece of art is the relaxed yet menacing thing they have going on. I plan to model the Champion as close as possible to this guy. I'm hoping I can get the dying psyker to look right without taking away away from the Champion. :tu: Elduderino, of course they need power fists, those suckers are fast ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234115-biohazards-wip-projects/page/69/#findComment-4628038 Share on other sites
k0nahrik
Deimos is looking a lot better now, I don't know whether or not it was just the angle of the older photos, but he definitely feels more bulky. Well done. As a side note, how did you get the eyescope for your recent techmarine, with the NL head? Biohazard
k0nahrik, thanks buddy, like I say I didn't change a lot apart from move the arms down 1mm or 2mm. Like I say I think the photos had a lot to do with the issues before. For the Warpsmiths eye scop I used a bit from one of the Ad Mech Kataphron Servitors, the guys with the tracks, I sliced the bionics from one them and added it to the NL head. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234115-biohazards-wip-projects/page/69/#findComment-4628086 Share on other sites

Biohazard
Cheers buddy. All the trophies are removable for painting so his trophy rack won't be fully finished until I've got at least basecoats on him. I'm really happy with how he's coming along, I still need to tweak the tubes connected to his mask and tidy up a couple of places here and there but he's getting there. Ps I'll have those bits posted to you by Monday at the latest :tu: Nemac Vradon 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234115-biohazards-wip-projects/page/69/#findComment-4628463 Share on other sites
Isengrin
Like Kraut, I was a bit skeptical of Deimos 2.0 at first, mainly because of his narrow waist and the position of his arms. I should have known better. He came out really, really good. Biohazard
Still waiting on bits to arrive to start the Chosen but I did have a dig through an old box of original Berserkers I have. I've decided to give these guys a new lease of life as Raptors in my Butcherhorde, So I removed all the bunny ear heads as only my Berserkers will have that crest and I started messing about. I still have to dremel out the necks on a few as these guys were plastic glued so a lot of them did not want to surrender their helms. :) http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/B99F2386-20A3-43A8-BAAC-BC5F3B9A9E8D.jpg Plan is I'll probably use Raptor helmets (the Raptor torsos and legs are being used on my Zerkers and Noise Marines) on these guys apart from the Champions who will still have skull helms. I'm also going to build up their bases and add a lot of debris and rubble. I'm hoping by having them all at different heights that I can give the impression of them just taking off. I have another 16-24 of these guys to build, I have enough of the old legs and bodies there so will just carry on using these older models and doing the best I can with them. Saves buying a load of new models. sockwithaticket, hushrong, vharing and 9 others 12 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234115-biohazards-wip-projects/page/69/#findComment-4641316 Share on other sites
KrautScientist
Is that a head from one of the AoS starter box Blood Warriors? It works so well, even with the bunny ears removed! Biohazard
Thanks, it's actually a head from the landspeeder kit with the upper half removed and replaced with the Bloodwarrior bit, I then added a bloodletter jaw over to the skull. It's still needing a little tidy up though. The Traitor
I love the conversions you've done here, the four horsemen look amazing! Looking forward for those chosen, it looks like a cool idea. Additionally the berserker bodies work surprisingly well with the raptors, and those head swaps are great. Biohazard
Thanks guys, here's a closer look at the Raptor head, I threw together another one last night. It's a bit tidier than the original, I used the masked warp talon head to make this one so the jaw fits a lot better. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/20773084-AC6E-4C36-905B-2574D068D811_1.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/83F1541B-C604-4A8C-BC2E-8304920260F9_1.jpg I also made a start on some painting. I made some progress on Warp smith Zephon http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/76D517DF-D3F7-4921-BED9-4C9C729D7CD4.jpg I removed his plasma pistol as I never use them. Still to decide what to put in his right hand but it won't take long to work on. I also made a start on my newest Termi Lord/Champ depending on points size games and a CSM Champ who was an absolute beast in my last game, http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/30133332-59D4-4BEC-9EC2-9986A77F6A2F.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/AA503D02-6724-454D-8F99-398F14262BDC.jpg I switched the head on my Biker Lord as well. I'd planned to use this head when the BA Champ was released but didn't pick it up until this week happier with his look now, it still needs a bit more work paintwise. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/ABE5F649-B011-48B8-8886-D6B5DBED0697.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/5052D250-150A-4E6C-9AD4-0FC95DBF0D3A.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/93C4B07B-1172-4303-8061-B73FE75EDBE1.jpg While I was painting I may also have added some really rough base coats to this guy :) http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/AAF2E84E-02E6-4B60-97D5-158494BA860F.jpg Edited February 6, 2017 by Biohazard Augustus b'Raass, Radiation, hushrong and 8 others 11 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/234115-biohazards-wip-projects/page/69/#findComment-4647314 Share on other sites
Biohazard
Hmm no love for the paint in progress? Fair enough how about some more grey plastic :) I've nearly finished my first squad of 'new' Berserkers. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/4C1C40DA-D4C1-4421-A7F8-6E3D110191B8.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/9A0719B6-6DA3-4362-B924-BA8D003D8B0C.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n235/Stovie_2006/Biohazards%20Worldeaters/4C0142E8-0C37-487A-926D-6C1594402409.jpg The Champs buddy will be wrapped in a little barbed wire I think. I'll probably remove the arms or work on them a bit more instead of literally just twisting the arms around. I just need to add some trophies and the Khorne shoulder pads to a few and one needs a head. I need to drill out his neck a little before he gets that but my minion is sleeping in the room next door and I dare not wake her. The Traitor
The biker lord looks stunning, as well as that champion with the crazed looking skull helm! About the zerkers I must say that the bits swap you've done with the raptors is a great idea, now they'll look much more in line with the new Khârn model while the raptors actually look good mixed with those older parts, mainly because of the amazing poses you've achieved on them.
