I wan my hellbrute to be converted to have heavy bolters instead of M-melta, odd i know but meh i just want it any ideas on how to convert up that dang gun arm to look more machinegun/heavy bolter look it kinda looks like it to me personally but everyone in the local GW won't let me say its a dang heavy bolter without actually converting it. cheers thanks for the help David. Well, if you have a friend playing Ig he might have some HBs over to trade you, and the ammo hoppers from the IG autocannons would make a fine addition as well I guess. That completes the Chaos portion of my Army this thread a big push to help me finsh. Dusktiger Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 the october issue of WD had the paint recipes for the 4 heresy-era legion armors in the new HH Betrayal book. we decided to redo my wife's army as Sons of Horus so if she decides to buy any models out of character from her DIY nurgle army, people wouldn't ask why. like thousand sons. or berserkers. (she buys what looks cool) this is done with a basecoat of mechanicus standard grey, then a drybrush of necron compound (think i overdid it on a couple spots though) then a wash of coelia greenshade. Ive not painted anything in a long time (infact prior to 6ed the last time i did anything 40k related was around the time the Tau appeared I believe) Apologies from the sideways angle uploaded them directly from my phone and its not the first time Ive done that. Ive spent most of the last week painting up the 40 cultists I have which I will probably get some pics of to get some feedback. I still need to do highlighting on the models. Its also a much darker red in real life.
