Recommended Posts

@Noctus Cornix:

lol working on it man, bikes are one of my least favorite things to work on for some reason, but I'm knuckling down and getting them done.

@TRIBUN:

Thanks!

@Balthamal:

Thanks man, hope you enjoyed the fluff as well :)

@Greyall:

Thanks! I'm really happy with how they turned out.

@DarkVen:

Thanks man, more Atramentar is never a bad thing ;)

@Kol_Saresk:

lol such a weird coincidence.

@goosey_j:

Wow! Thanks! I feel honored man :D

@Capitano:

That's some high praise Capitano, thanks! I guess it's only natural for us Night Lords to stab each other in the back ;)

Those Terminators are frakking stellar. I think the bronze might be a little too close to the base sand color, but the conversions accompanied by the OSL and sharp highlighting more than make up for that. I especially love the spines on their backs, I actually kind of wish you'd gone further with that concept. Death to the False Emperor, brother.

My most sincere congratulations!!!!....

I follow your work on NL, since this topic had a few pages.

Now your topic is a point of reference for all those who wish to collect an army (NL or HH)

I admit that some photos of your models is used as inspiration to create new models! ;)

On which models you will focus now?

You take inspiration from the new units that will come out on the book massacre?

And he's done it....YET again....especially with games day only a few away now....

I hate you now lol

This is how I measure success, the hate keeps me warm :)

Thanks man, what did you envision with the back spines out of curiosity?

Awesome work, Heinrich! I really dig the weathering you've chosen on these guys in general, though the termies are really making it pop. That contrast against the midnight blue is great :smile.:

Thanks! The desert environment has long been my favorite to paint and model, ever since I saw that picture in the 3rd edition rulebook of the Tallarn IG and Eldar duking it out on that sweet desert table.

:cuss you keep this up I will just mail my stuff to you let you work on it and send it back...haha

That may be a possibility in the future man, when my hobby/paint schedule clears I've though about doing commission work.

The fluff was grade A my friend. Kuul Zhar ended up as more of a twisted :censored: than I could have ever dreamed of. Seems the bar has been set rather high for when the time arrives to crack on with my own

That's what makes our legion great brother, mutual competition and backstabbing ;)

Glad I could inspire you man. As for the next models in line, I'm working on a bike squad right now and then hopefully finishing the Landraider and Rhinos. I should also be getting my Lord up this weekend sometime, so stay tuned.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys!

So I figured I'd give you all a taste of what's in the pipes. I haven't taken pictures of the biker progress yet, which will no doubt drive Noctus and his band of outrider scum crazy, but I do have a picture of my newest idea. After re-tooling the list I planned to build, I have decided to combine the biker squads into one band of crazies under the nominal command of Noctus Cornix. Additionally, instead of running a Heldrake, I'll be taking Obliterators. However in keeping with 15th companies' disdain for mutation and corruption, they won't be your traditional hulking mutant weapon platforms, rather I'm taking a leaf from the master's book again and building heavy weapon teams. Thanks again for the inspiration Dan the Deamon!

Let me know what you guys think. Also this means there will be a few more named slots opening up (8 to be precise). So to those of you who wanted a spot in the 15th but missed out, here's your chance! One caveat however, I will be reducing the biker's numbers by one, so if one of you guys would like to trade in your wheels for a big ass gun, let me know, you'll be first in line for a named member of one of the 4 obliteration teams.

*In an Australian voice*

If he pulls this off he will quickly become the most famous night lord player on the boards...crikey...

Haha thanks man, but Dan the Deamon and DarkVen still hold those titles ;)

Nah, I think that will always belong to Dan the Daemon. No offense meant.

Can't argue with that man, he did in model form what AD-B did with words for the Night Lords.

Dig those terminators, big time.

Thanks man!

What is that plasma cannon from? I love the side mount. Good looking models man, follow that team through and you'll be golden.

Thanks man! That means a lot coming from you. The cannon is from the new Deathwing Terminators set, Instantly saw the potential to do a DtD pattern Plasma Cannon with it. By the way, any word on whether or not the illustrious 18th is still trapped in the warp?

I enjoy your work here among my lost sons.

I wish that I was able to keep them loyal but alas their father had part of my own abilities with a darker twist on the future abilities.

But none the less your work here is amazing and I look forward to seeing more of it

Regarding the Terminator spines, I sort of picture them covering the whole back (maybe not the vents) and wrapping around the chest plate to form a full ribcage. Could leave gaps to show some of the blue underneath, then combine that with either skull helmets or terror markings, dangling leg and arm bone trophies from the belt, and maybe some continuation of the skeletal theme on the arms and legs (bone toes like on Dante?). Could make for an extremely interesting Terminator command squad. I just feel like if Skeletermies would work in any Legion it'd be Night Lords. :P Anyway, HW team looks ace so far, looking forward to seeing a whole unit of these.
