Night Lords 15th Company - In Memoriam...Pg.68

Recommended Posts

Everyone is alive and well for now, though this November the 15th company is going to see action in our campaign, The Caedon Offensive. You had all better hold on to your butts because the casualty roles will no doubt be brutal. The Word Bearers, under the command of Kibosh, and my Night Lords are going toe to toe with two Space Marine companies and an Eldar Craftworld, oh yes, there will be blood...

I wanted to hold of but I just can't resist, here's a sneak peak of our chosen battleground:

Thanks guys! Sorry, I know you've all been starved for an update but life has been pretty hectic on this end, not to mention I had to find my muse for these bikers. After sitting down, turning off the lights and watching a walkthrough of Outlast, I can safely say that my psychopathic idea machine is now running full speed ahead.

So without further ado, here's an update on the progress of the Outrider squadron. Still working on a suitably Nostraman name for these guys in line with Talon and Claw, and Razor.

Right now all I'm waiting on are the CCW arms from the Ravenwing Command set, hopefully they'll be here by the weekend so I can put the finishing touch on these guys. My particular favorite is probably Biker #4's flayed-skin gas tank, let me know what you guys think and if you'd like to see more of anything in particular!

Ave Dominus Nox!

Considering the prevalence of blades on these guys, how about calling the squads of bikers Blades?

And speaking of blades, where did the ones on the front of this bike come from?

You've made Biker models cool.

Damn, you're good.

Haha, thanks Darth.

Hmmm, that could work for the name Kage, I'll take it under consideration. As for the blades they're all from the Skaven Stormvermin kit I believe.

Most acceptable. Most acceptable indeed. :cool.:

Only comment I would have to make so far is to get rid of the handguard on the chainglaive. I'm on a bike, not meant for dueling. I don't want my glaive getting caught on anything unless I plan on impaling something. Want it to glide off. Also, looks a tiny bit silly, if I'm honest.

All in all, this little band of Outriders is looking to be very promising. I look forward to more.

The chainglaive makes me want to go inside a cave and live with bats forever.

The skin on the seat just makes me glad that I'm able to witness such great ideas taking shape. Nothing better than a work of love, is what I say. And yes, that includes draped human skin.

You mean The Warrior of the Wasteland, and the Ayatollah of Rock-and-Rollah, The Humungus?

Lol, yeah, that's the guy!

Those bikes are so Mad Max-esqe, I want to go out and put spinning blades and a megaphone on my SUV...

That's a good thing. Awesome job as always, Heinrich.
