at the tournament some scenarios required more than just 3 objective, so decided to make 3 more.

this time I took some pictures along the way.

started out with the plaster bits from gf9 drew some fast chaos stars on them.

after that I cut the bottom at an angle then glue them on a round base and added some small slate bits with some sand

then painted it black and dry brushed it a few shades of grey.

fixed the edges on the base and started with the green in the star starting dark then going lighter towards the middle

wanted to add a spacemarine helmet so found one from a chaos trophy rack and painted it red for bloodangels

Sorry for the long wait, I been really busy, and my photo bucket is saying its almost maxed out so need to go rinse out a bit, barely have had time to build paint or anything, so been thinking over a new list, as always its always great in theory but ..well you know.

So my new project involves making bikes and lots where one will be chaos lord I am converting Kranon from the dark vengeance box to sit on a bike and also a sorcerer I am goanna convert to be sitting on a bike, also finally started on my obliterators, going to sculpt most of them maybe use a few bits, want them to be as big as centurions but look more like terminators.

got a bit side-tracked in making two demon princes of the demon prince kit with magnetized wings too, goo insta mold!

what else hmm

been painting a bit more on the plague marines, as you might know I had the idea of painting them like my other marines, but then on top of that making cracks and holes in the power armour where the taint of the warp shines out green, and the armour around the holes start to turn the demonic skin tone grey I used for the army

so here is two pictures, 2nd one isn't done yet, started on the top head and shoulders so far, and as always picture quality varies

hope you like it and write lots of comments, always like some good feedback and ideas of things to build

thanks, and its good to be back, i actualy got my hands on a secondhand landraider, cant affor a new one, but! its missing 2 bits its missing one of the cover plating that goes ontop of the sponson lascannon and its missing the motor bit that supposed to be in the back so there will be a gaping hole there, so been trying to get my hands on those first . also hoping to get a set of subtle discords chaos lr tracks for it

man those plague marines! perfect!

you sir, are really good at this, everyone of your guys looks so alive. I can feel the wind just by looking at them

you have given me lots of ideas so i shall give a few in return,

could you make the sang guard kit look like it belongs in the same army as the chaos chosen from dark vengeance?

how bout turning some of the new lizardmen models into demon engines?

are there any heads you like in the fantasy range? would they look cool on terminators? would tails look cool on terminators?

you mentioned obliterators, the size of centurions, would their weapons be mounted on their backs? shoulders? underslung? their stomach?

where is the line between bionic, human, mutant, demon

hope that is the kind of stuff your looking for

have fun warhammering!

thanks!

That sounds like some interesting ideas, not sure about lizard thingy's, but will have to look into it was planning on building a feral maulerfiend.

also like the look of fantasy chaos bits, I already use some, but was thinking of building some terminators with chaos nights bity even on the obliterators and also a few bits for sorcerers

as for obliterators think ill have all the weapons on the arms but be a challenge to fit all 8 options on them

Thamier,

I just got a look at the models on pages 3 and 4, and man oh man am I impressed!  Your conversion work is great!  It is always amazing to see what a little green stuff or work with plastic card can do to elevate a "normal" model to a fantastic model.  I really like the converted Helldrake.  Unique and wicked looking.

To top it all off, your painting skills are top notch!  It is a rare treat to see someone who can do both (convert and paint) because they army ends up being unique and amazing to look at.  This has "People's Choice" award written all over it.

I also have that same GW paint box (from my early entry into warhammer back in 1996).  Actually, I used to have a box set of citadel paints from the late 1980's, but it got tossed during a move back in the early 90's.  I was buying Citadel Fantasy models for my D&D game (like the regiments of Renown....uglogs armored orks).

I know its been a while a long while since I updated, as before I been really busy, but did have time to snap a few pictures of my almost finished plague marines and my havoc aspiring champion.

also did my call of chaos, so when I have time for warhammer that's what im doing, building those, the biker lord and sorc are getting there, takes a while for me to build, will show some pictures on the first official update of them, just need to make them a little more complete, lots of bits atm.

also need to start on the 5 new plague marines for the pledge.

So lots to do, so the pictures for you guys, hope you like them.

Also really happy, finally got Mwg Dave to look at my thread here and give me some feedback, been really curios to hear what he thought about it too, so that was great, and right after posting this im gonna continue listening to Gav Thoorpe's Deliverance lost audiobook wile I build the bikes.

Hope you guys get inspired, and please tell me what you think, ideas and suggestions, hopefully I will eventually get some of all these actually done and posted in hall of honour or what's it called for complete models.

Now may the Eye of Terror bless you all ;)

Okay another update, feeling a bit stressed, lots that needs to be done, and going on vacation abroad soon, so hoping to get these built and maybe some paint on them before, these are part of my pledge on the CALL OF CHAOS!

I pledged a sorc on bike, a chaos lord on bike, and then a squad of 5 plague marines, if I get those done ahead of time I might add more to my pledge.

so been building slowly when I have had some time, been mainly converting and using grey stuff, mmmm grey stuff.

so this is my first post of my biker sorcerer.

He is still not all done, working on the backpack, and the robe around his legs is not sculpted done, will add another layer to it, and the other side need to have robe bit added too, but after that he be ready for some paint.

I feel that if the cloak was flowing behind him it would be more dynamic, and maybe move the head to a reading position with the book held out to the side a bit more, like he's doing an enchantment whilst his bike steers itself?
