Thank you guys - your comments are really helping! I have reached the point that I really have use all my willpower to see this through - or it will linger for ever. Another 5 and the Troop choices are done. Then three more Jetbikes and the project will be complete! phew...

 

@ Chaplain Mortis: Nah, if I join the ETL it'll be part of the DA forum... However I have some thoughts for the next Loyalty and Treachery...;)

 

@ Forte: yes, turqoise is the signature colour for the Sang Froid - since I use some BA bits, i decided to paint the blood drops an icy colour... The turqoise shoulder pads are a distinction... The is one in the other assault squad and I will carry it to the jetbikes too...

I don't find the turquoise to fit with the purple you use, but they're certainly both well painted.

 

They'd look more brutal with mkV chainswords, but sadly you can't pick and choose your parts when ordering from Forge World.

You might want to check the white balance in your camera settings. Unless the background actually did go through a change...

Thanks guys, I'm having issues with photography as well as background... Be that as it may I need to paint 20 jump packs which seems to me like a huge task right now. Good news is I have the three remaining jetbikes prepped and ready to be painted! :devil:

Eh, I never liked marines dual wielding chainswords. Plain swords, maybe, especially if one is shorter than the other, but chainswords? Naw.

Well, it was kind of an impulse....

 

I like the implied brutality that is usually associated with other legions like WE or SoH. The ECs are usually considered more... elegant. So I found this antithesis amusing. :)
