I think death company terminators/ our own form of termie like DA has, our own flyer, new special tank, own bike units (Khorne dogs with wings?), new IC would be great new models.

Also I would like for the DC to get a points nerf 35 pts a model with a JP is expensive..

I would like more options for wargear on sergeants Vets Caps.

Sang Priest to actually be worth the points

More DC options maybe they could take heavy weapons wink.png

Perhaps more psychic powers

Red Thirst to be a constant in all BA units not having to roll for it

Specialized ammunition exp: kraken bolts

more options for Sang Guard/ Inv save

def the use of centurions would be a great addition

Maybe the use of Tycho allows DC to count as scoring would be cool

Death Company bikers would be kinda OP but stillyes.gif

If I were a betting man, I'd say most of your wish list will probably not become reality.

Death Company termies would be fun, but would be grossly expensive points wise to field. A squad of 5 I'm guessing would cost anywhere from the 350pts + ballpark if they kept their current stats of FNP, Black Rage, etc... in addition to a 2+/5++... (1 squad of 5 w/jp and power weapons is 250)

Our sgts already have access to good equipment like infernus pistols and power weapons, so I expect that to stay the same.

Priests if anything I would like to DROP in price if they stay the way they are now currently. I don't normally field them as I run a DC heavy army most of the time, but lately I've been using them with my assault marines, and they are an expensive 1W model for what they do. If your FNP rolling is hot, then they are totally worth it, but still...

DC already have tons of options, and are not devastators. Their sole purpose is to get into CC as soon as possible, and carve a bloody path through the enemy and die. Their heavy weapons are power fists and thunder hammers.

While I'm hoping for an Inv on the SG as well, I doubt it will happen.

We have sternguard already for specialist ammo, I don't think making it a purchasable option will happen.

Centurions I hope stick to their C:SM, they don't fit the fluff of the BA, unless they can deepstrike, and have dual frag cannons and chest mounted heavy flamers. (Then I'd buy them in a heart beat)

Death Company bikes, same as termies... Would be cool, but expensive again, and not really practical. They'd probably have to come up with some crazy rule that when you charge with a DC biker, the bike is destroyed in the assault as the marine lunges off the bike and sends it crashing into the enemy, but cause D3 Str.5 hammer of wrath attacks per bike. Replace biker model with DC on foot...

From what I've seen today on the recent pics floating around, all units in a Battle Forged army count as scoring I believe, so we may very well be getting scoring DC in this next edition :D

That would be awesome.

But swift claw bikers (space wolf bikes) nearly have rage they don't have a rule like that.... .... ... .. . Yet!

Oh I'm getting another flush!

What the rumors don't mention is if we're getting access to any Codex: Space Marine toys. It's entirely reasonable to guess that we might. I wonder which, if any? Maybe we will get storm talons after all...

My guess would be Grav Weapons, Storm Talon, and the AA Tank. I would kill for the Land Speeder Storm, but I don't think it'll happen.

We don't need any of it.

We need the AA tank. Storm Talon not so much, but giving it Blood Strike Missiles would be pretty amazing. Grav is an option with the Tactical Squad so they'll include it.

Hope we get someone / something with orbital bombardment. Or anything S10 or large blasty and hurty enough to hit vehicles. As a fast, mobile force the BA don;t use heavy artillery but we would, particularly with drop pod lists, surely have access to orbital support.

I suppose a downside would be, say if Dante has orbital barrage, you can't use it if you move but maybe you could have the ability to allocate it as a pre-battle bombardment. I think the old rules used to do this, where before deployment you wrote down which board piece you were going to drop the orbital strike on?

Why do you want the AA tank but not the talon? Serious question since I've never seen a SM player use them and our ravens are even better anti air.

The death company maybe scoring just hit me and that does sound good, I have a suspicion they may put into the brb (not even in our codex next to doc but the brb) that all models are scoring except the insane blood hungry death company :)

I'm so used to paying a ton of points for anything that I wouldn't mind dropping the points on a dedicated AA unit and I like the model. It's not that I don't want the Talon, but if we get the AA tank I would be fine with that and the Raven. If anything, I want the Storm. I absolutely love the model and it fits with the playstyle.

I feel similarly. Don't get me wrong - I want the stormtalon. I'd rather get something awesome and special, like a Blood Angels specific flyer - but it's good to have options. Sometimes you don't want to bring your own flyer. Sometimes you just want to deny the skies to your opponent.

The other problem with using a flyer as your anit-aircraft is the race to the bottom effect. The way it works now, a flyer that lacks Interceptor is a sitting duck. Whoever's flyer comes on first will lose, unless you're moderately lucky. However, most flyers can kill another flyer on average dice (and some on poor dice). Flyers are therefore pretty poor anti-aircraft, unless you have some way of reliably controlling reserves.

The anti aircraft tanks have (I think) interceptor. They are also much cheaper than a stormtalon/raven, so it's more conceivable to put two on the table. Altogether, this makes for a superior anti-aircraft choice.

Sorry to squash some dreams but neither the hunter/stalker or allied hydra have interceptor. If you want interceptor you buy a quad gun line. If you want to control reserves you buy a comms relay.

I really don't like the idea of Marines being able to 'go heretic' and summon demons, goes against the entire play style for me ( personal opinion though :) ) Mephsiton does a fantastic impersonation of a demon prince anyway ;)

Shaezus - may i introduce you to my friend - Mr Vindicator? Fast mobile, S10, large blast and hurty to vehicles...

'tis true. Me likes Mr barrage over Mr Vindi though because barrage hits side armour and is more likely to avoid them getting a cover save, which has been the bane of my vindicator adventures so far.

I just picked up an Aegis for a quad gun the other day. Haven't used it yet, but it seems like a good cheap choice for AA and even ground targets.

We already do.

No, we had our own flyer. Now everyone but the Space Wolves gets it, too.

Originally, the Grey Knights had their version and we had ours.

Then, a third version came out in the new Space Marine Codex, while The Dark Angels and Space Wolves gained access via a dataslate.

We still have a flyer with unique rules for ourselves and our successors.

It's very versatile, sticking camo scouts behind it for the save or the signum wielding dev marine are good uses.

That's my plan!  I have the scouts painted up nicely ready to give it a go, and I'm working on my some devastators for down the road.  My main problem with my devs is that I bought them ages ago when I left the hobby, and have been assembled.  All my models not have a trace of the DC kits or SG kits for their BA flair.

I might just have to paint them up as Salamanders for a small fluffy Armageddon list and buy new ones for a kit bash down the road.
