Not going to lie, "Princess of Crows" made me giggle with fangirlish glee.

Helter's suggestion feels far less self-obsessed and practical, however.

A humble Night Lord.

Huh.

It's also infuriating, coming from someone who doesn't have people bickering about what kind of cool titles I could go by. :p

I go by :cuss, Shield of Revo, Commander, Nancy (my greatest pride), Death Star, and Templar.

I'm a vivid :cussing character, and relish to be put on more hit lists.

I have heard of none of this of titles. However, I was the first person to be insulted by being called fluffbunny, and I take great pride that it is now a badge of honor for all those whose priority is background. Even if I did attract the Eye of Kurgan in the earning of it. Totally worth it.

People (in the really real world) seem to radically struggle insulting me. Ive had: undertaker, jeeperscreepers, louis vitton, and captain caveman. The joy of the forkie bawling captain caveman across the building site never ceased to amuse.

Fluffbunny makes you sound cute Kol, you dont want a reputation for being a softie in these murderous circles? :p

How is Louis Vitton an insult?

Because Vitton, and not Vuitton like the brand? And vitton is, well...

Rabbit of Caerbonnog.

Bring it. :cool.:

NOW you have  my respect, Sir. :D

Just buttoned up my WIP thread for anyone interested!

GAH! ... I knew that, darn it!

My undergrad roommate was a fashion and design major and everything.

*hangs head in shame* I need to hand in my lady-card.

You had a lady card to hand in? I thought most ladies lost it when they chose to follow this hobby where the shops smell of mansweat and teenage fear? (Gw have distilled this smell, available as eau de store) if it helps I lost my man card on multiple occasions. Didn't bother getting it back last time, conformism isn't for us night folk anyway.

Blackout: I use photo bucket, nice big piccies that mobile users hate! Nice contemptor!

@ Helter - HAH! If working for 6 years as a Corvette mechanic for General Motors didn't do it, "nerd" games certainly won't.

@ Blackout - Are you trying to post pics from Flikr PC or an app on a mobile device?

My partner, owner of a lady card, dislikes the stores. Notes the cryptic stench of most of the shops isnt to her liking and only enters them for birthdays/christmas. Or when im working and the store closest to me on break is shut. Refers to my NL as little blue men.

From this i deduce it must be difficult to retain the lady card and be in the hobby. Or have a nose made of steel.

Seriously i just tell her im off to the geek shop and we meet up after when we're out together. Easier that way.

In other news Deo is sat in a shopping basket waiting for the boss to transfer the pennies. So close damn him!

the last few days, i've been thinking about writing some fluff for my warband.

i gotta admit, i'm a little intimidated, because i've never written anything like it with the exception of some star wars rpg adventures and all the fluff i read here is soooo good.

not sure where i'm gonna start, but i think i'll just pick a single marine and start collecting background bits for him...

Go for it. Feel free to throw it up here. We don't have a problem helping you perfect your writing.

i knew the fluffbunny couldn't resist chiming in:biggrin.:

thank you very much, i don't know how long it'll take, but i will drop it here for my murderous brothers consideration:smile.:

This. Made me literally lol

No one messes with Flint's lady card ownership rights. She's our queen. Period. :furious:

I thought she ordered us not to call her that or meet with a painful death...

You know, I hate "queen," but I'm slowly coming around on "Princess of Crows."

I like that it implies sisterhood to Sevatarion as opposed to that suggestion of "Bride of Sevatar" which doesn't work for half a dozen hilarious reasons :biggrin.:

@ Wicced - Heck yeah, toss it up here! What's the worst that could happen? (getting stabbed, but that's a given in here.)

Starting with just a marine or two is probably a good beginning, at least that worked pretty good for me. It gives you plenty of room to make things up as you go along aswell so that you're less likely to find yourself thinking 'Oh! That's a neat idea! Too bad it contradicts the fluff I wrote a few months ago when I tried to rush everything'. It's also easier to do things piece by piece instead of trying to pin down the inner workings of an entire warband at once.

Feel free to post it here, too, but there is also here on the B&C a Fanfiction forum if your work is more story-oriented, and the Liber Astartes forum where all DIY lore is intended to go, such as Indices Traitoris/ Chaotica. I can personally guarantee that the the latter forum would be eager to see an increase on Traitor/Renegade lore.
