I'd still buy it just for the fluff and being able to field a combined Nurgle force regardless of its competitiveness as I'm more a fluff player. Though it could be pretty cool if we got access to a chaos version of rad weapons as Nurgle has always in my opinion been an army that would use a lot of chemical weapons like the Purge do fluff wise.

 

 

On another topic I just got my hands on the Imperial Armour 13 warmachines of the lost and damned book and am quite impressed just. Has anyone tried out the stuff from the book as I was quite interested in adding a few units to my Nurgle force. Also would it be worth it giving a transport the Nurgle legacies of ruin upgrade

I don't buy the books for the fluff. There's a wiki that summarizes it well enough. Pretty pictures don't justify costs either, if it doesn't function the way I need it to, than I don't spend the money.

 

Granted I bought DA2, but I'm enjoying it more than I thought, despite it not being a good game compared to others.

I started a thread about this in the general PCA forum, but this may be a better place:

 

I am looking for models and hopefully some experiential advice on using either a horse model or some sort of creature (like Kazyk the Befouled from FW) to use for some Nurgle bikers in place of traditional chaos bikes. Anyone know where to look or have pictures?

the Chaos Knights WFB kit is an obvious choice if you want to use horsies for bikes. That kit is amazing for chaos bits anyway.

the Chaos Knights WFB kit is an obvious choice if you want to use horsies for bikes. That kit is amazing for chaos bits anyway.

 

Shoulderpads, Power Mauls, funky heads, I've got so much just out of one kit. 

 

Could have then riding beasts of nurgle

So, this is my very first Post to the b&c. Hello, everybody! Anyways, I dropped out of the hobby back then, when the 2007 chaos codex got released. I tried to get back in a few times later then, but it never really clicked with me. To my surprise, My brother started playing and painting regularly. So, I bought a few models, he gave me the latest codex and I build a few iron warriors. It didn't really get me though, once I missed those specific legion stuff from the older codex. Due to some weird circumstances, I went to a lokal store, sa a Typhus model. Bought it right away alongside a few plaguebearers, a hellbrute and some colors and here we are. I digged out my old Death Guard Army, painted a good bunch of models in the last three weeks.... and it made click again.

 

I'm not a good painter at all but here we go:
