Daemon2027
I reckon the Headhunter will be an upgrade kit like the terror squad.
Fire Golem
Yeah probably. I wonder if the Mor Deythan will be like that too.
Russ Brother 92
Ahh but the AL DO have kits out... they're just so sneaky that even Alan "Mechanicus Overseer" Bligh doesn't know where they are ;)
Daemon2027
Maybe. It depends on what sort of detail they decide to do. I read somewhere they were not going to do a legion mark V1 but you would hope they change their mind on that and do these as mark VI upgrades. Marshal Rohr
*cough* http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2014/9/11/646357_md-Imperial%20Fist%20Contemptor%20Dread.jpg Oh yes. I found my Justici Assault Maniple commander. My Prediction is that Headhunters, Warders, Havocs, and Mor Deythan will be expected to be made from the Torso and Head upgrade kits. The Templars, Lernaeans, Furies, and Tyrant Terminators will all get kits. Sigismund, Eidolon, Sevatar, Maloghurst, Exitus, Kaedes Nex, and Polux will get character series models. The other FW characters will get dual purpose models like the new Magos, where you can swap a head and weapons to represent them. The Iron Father can represent Autek Mor with the addition of a Volkite for example.
Daemon2027
The iron Farther model has a Volkite, but according to Forge World that axe is a power axe so he would need a paragon blade. For me it's big enough to be one already. But I do agree with you on the duel purpose stuff.
Marshal Rohr
Paragon blades can be anything. Loken has one, and it's a chainsword! :P
Fire Golem
Lokens' chainsword is a paragon blade?! Wow. Gonna model all my praetors with the most mundane Paragon Blades I can think of.
Daemon2027
Paragon blades can be anything. Loken has one, and it's a chainsword! :P Oh yeah I know, just going off the description on the FW site. I would say it's a paragon blade to. Lokens' chainsword is a paragon blade?! Wow. Gonna model all my praetors with the most mundane Paragon Blades I can think of. Yeah, look at my Iron Captain(the Iron Farther I posted in the casual modelling thread) he has a chain weapon which I am counting as a Paragon Blade. Fire Golem
Oh I saw his chainsword but I didn't realise you were using it as a paragon blade :)
Daemon2027
Chain Sabre...
Fire Golem
What's the difference...
Daemon2027
It's curved... Lol, no difference, it's not even a proper sabre which would only have one cutting side, while my chain sabre has and exposed upper edge. Fun fact, I built it out of a mark IV chain sword and a Night Lord Chain Glaive.
Fire Golem
Ah okay haha. Chain weapons are just intrinsically cool.
Daemon2027
Yep. Despite being rather crap when coming up against power blades. Some of my favourite bits of an ADB novel is when his chain sword/axe wielding anti hero comes up against a power weapon equipped real hero. Fire Golem
Like Khârn against the UM captain on Betrayer? Chain weapons are cool but I'd rather have a power weapon.
depthcharge12
I kinda like the Imperial Fist contemptor...he's not overly fisty on his iconography

Brother Captain Lucian
The Word Bearer dread is contemplating in the eye and wont be out for a few thousand years. The Alpha legion dread is already there. Its every dreadnought released. >.>
No Foes Remain
*cough* http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2014/9/11/646357_md-Imperial%20Fist%20Contemptor%20Dread.jpg In the background of this shot we have the IVth Legion dred, the Pheonix guard (I think) behind them but who is that almost base-to-base with the IF dread? From what I can tell he doesn't look very much like any model released yet and he seems to have a few aquilias on him.
Marshal Rohr
Its a normal Phoenix Guard. Its the pointing one from the set.
