In the front shot the proportions do look a bit off, I think it's because the legs are so thin. 

 

Chainglaives look awesome. Did the arms/glaive shaft also come from Anvil industries?

Yea the arms, shaft and head all come in the kit, you get 7 arm pairs and 1 armless haft to sling on someones back.

 

As for the knight I think I put one of the exhausts on a tad crooked so its affecting how it sits a little

Painted the top carapace up to see how it fits. Wasn't sure if the stripe would work or not, but I really like the end result, so much so that I even think it looks less weird now. Still fairly rough so some cleanup on the red is necessary but it's coming together well now.

I really wanted something that was functional and menacing and something that looked like the mechanicum would field; Knight heraldry is a bit too colourful and varied for the Atropos and my tastes tbh

As soon as it's edited and uploaded since we shot it Saturday night. I was fairly please since it killed a venator with its first shot and then got a death blow on its first D shot. Died on round two to an absurd amount of 6s rolled in the shooting phase

They're pretty cool, really nice model and the rules are pretty fair, a primarch can do so much more for around the same points

After watching my Castigator struggle with a defiler and my Acheron get destroyed by a Stompa, I really want to see how this would fare against such targets!

The atropos should definitely have an easier time at staying individual things. The D shot and 4 close combat attacks can really do a number, especially with initiative 4 and the bonuses from ocular augmetics and the twinlinked vs. Gargantuans and super heavies.

There's still some more detail work I want to do on it, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

 

 

 

This is going to be my count as Navigator, as the model is too swanky to pass up and it gives a nod to Octavia and her aristocratic superiority .

Got some Vorax to be used with a Praeviean. As with the knight I wanted to keep them neutral in terms of scheme, though they did get a good amount of blood as Vorax are described as being extremely aggressive hunter-killer units. Really like how they came out in the same black and red scheme as the knight. I used them in a game Friday and while expensive, they serve as a nail in the coffin off the outflank

Painted up some custodes for a game the other day with a kind of janky loyalist night lords list. Really like how most of them turned out, but I've gone back and changed the leather and spear blades, as well as cleaned up the eyes and gems bit.
