I've not been involved in the modeling side of the hobby for a long time, but am getting keen enough lately to start looking into getting a few Subjugators done up for display purposes.

This thread is exactly the sort of inspiration that is pushing me in this direction - thanks man, truly awesome stuff :)

Hi, the blog at inq28.blogspot.com is mine, though I haven't been able to update it too much in recent weeks - though I did get to go down to Warhammer World and GM a game on Saturday - when real life abates a little in the summer holiday I will be sure to post more.

In the meantime, be sure to check out the Ammobunker INQ28 forum for more Inquisitorial-related modelling! No doubt they'll be inspirational.

I look forward to seeing more Inquisitorial and Templar-related models from you soon.

Well I found the image here and that one hasn't been updated since 2 years. Thanks for link to your blog, awesome stuff!! Forum is nice as well. One day I HAVE to try INQ28 myself...given how many Inquisitor and Companion models I have. :biggrin.: I even own the Inquisitor rulebook. What a shame... I got a lot of more Inquisitorial stuff in the pipeline...three heavily modified Inquisitors and four Companions on my work station at the moment. So if you ever need a filler for your blog feel free to take some of my stuff. :smile.:

Anyway, I finally managed to complete painting on an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor and a couple of Templars. I hope I can upload more fully painted stuff in the next time...

Stellar job on the Inquisitor! I've always love those models and you really captured the "Gothic" feel with the dark color scheme. The flames on the Heavy Flamer are brilliant, too! Can't wait to see more. :happy.:

Hey guys. For several month I was out of the Warhammer-thing and therefore didn't get anything done but now I used the holidays to go on painting and finally finished a lot of guys of my growing crusade...

...and the crusade keeps on growing.

I hope to be finished painting all assembled and primed models in the near future so I can go on with my true passion converting (with a peace of painting-conscience ;))...as I write this I already got ideas and parts for 7 Inquisitors, 3 Henchmen, about 12 Marines, 5 Terminators, 3 Kataphron Battle Servitors (yes Mechanicus now too ;)), the starts of 2 Kastelan Robots, 2 Land Raiders and a Knight.

Thanks again! :) About the old Castellan...I know people like him a lot and it is without doubt one of my most extensive conversions. But as well it's one of my oldest and therefore contains a lot of elements I wouldn't build like that these days. So all in all I'm not that pleased with his outcome anymore but will none the less paint him one day I got all new stuff painted...though it might take a while.

On the flames: well they were build in different ways. The flames on the Heavy Flamers are plain Green Stuff duplicates of CSM hair braids. The flames on the Torches are duplicated bits of the throne of Inquisitor Karamasow. And the flames on the old castellan are a mix of a some flame bit with a little Green Stuff added...I hope this helped you a little. ;) Check out Warhammer Fantasy Imperium stuff for additional flame and torch bits.

The castellan deserves a good paintjob, and then lead your forces to victory :)

You can never judge your old models, compared with the new ones, it will drive you nuts.

Hey guys, I'm back from the dead again. :biggrin.:

Haven't been deedless in my crypt though...I finished the painting on some members of my growing Crusade and converted and builded some new guys for it as well.

Of course I couldn't keep my hands off the (no longer) new Deathwatch releases and gave it my own spin.

My beloved holy Inquisition got some new servants as well, in the forms of an Assassin, some Priests and Companions and two powerful new Inquisitors who have been in the making for quite a while.
