ElDuderino
Wow! I love most of your guys but those tributea to the 3rd edition cover strike me right in the feels. Beautiful. You forgot the bolter barrel shooting flames though;) Timotheus 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307282-tims-imperium/page/3/#findComment-5353864 Share on other sites
Timotheus
Thanks a lot guys  Right now I'm painting up the Cadians and some Priests and Servitors. Sadly I'm struggling with some issues with the often recommended Army Painter Spray cans that I used for the first time. Before I only used Citadel (now I know why :/) but their Spray range sadly is very limited and I wanted some colour variety for the Priests/Servitors...  Wow! I love most of your guys but those tributea to the 3rd edition cover strike me right in the feels. Beautiful. You forgot the bolter barrel shooting flames though;)  :D I had to chuckle...always thought I was the only one interfering with this oddity ^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307282-tims-imperium/page/3/#findComment-5354292 Share on other sites
ElDuderino
It's so weird, it seems like mr blanche of all people would have a decent idea of how a bolter works:D Timotheus 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307282-tims-imperium/page/3/#findComment-5354413 Share on other sites
Timotheus
    So I've not been idle during these crazy times and managed to paint a couple of models that have been (finished or not) kreeping around my hobby place as long as I can remember. Including the before mentioned Black Templars Castellan from 3rd edition cover Blanchitsu from the very beginning of my Crusade.  +++ Adeptus Astartes +++ Black Templars Castellan, Servitors, Cherubims, Thralls  Black Templars Chaplain with Cenobites  Black Templars Sword Brother & Initiates  Black Templars Initiates  +++ =I=nquisition +++ Ordo Malleus Inquisitor with retinue  Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor with rentiue  Inquisitorial Henchmen & Priests  +++ Astra Militarum +++ Cadian Shock Troops  Cadian Shock Troops   I'm pretty content with the crusade's size and shape so far and will only be adding some models or units to the Black Templars section from time to time. There is the complementing of some units, a new Sternguard squad and my take on the Space Marine Heroes series 1 & 2 in the making.  Aside from that I will heavily focus on Imperial Guard in the near future with paint and tank support for my Vostroyans and a completely new Death Korps Of Krieg Army in the planning.  Also of course I couldn't resist to buy into the wonderful new Sororitas, so there is some plastic crack waiting for attention as well.  Next project featured here will be Deathwatch though, as I finally got 3 Kill Team Squads almost ready to paint. Maybe I'll have finished the paintjobs on the Sword Brethren Terminator Squad and AdMech Magos by then as well.  Edited April 9, 2023 by Timotheus sockwithaticket, noigrim, Radiation and 8 others 10 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307282-tims-imperium/page/3/#findComment-5554494 Share on other sites

sockwithaticket
The BT 3rd ed homage minis are great, hit me right in the nostalgia. I like the variety of your Inquisition models, a bunch of classics and some conversions too. Timotheus
Thanks guys! Â They all are greatWhich bits did you use for the golden inquisitor? Â Well, it's been a while but I think I can figure this out.....torso must be from Blood Angels, arms from Ravenwing, shoulder pads from the old SM command squad, hammer from Inquisitor Coteaz and the legs are of librarian Turmiel. Timotheus
It's been a while again but there has been progress on the Crusade - as always. Â I finally pre-paint finished the whole two Deathwatch Kill Teams as well as some Initiates, Sword Brethren and representatives of the Officio Prefectus. Â Â A second Magos has been fully compiled to pursue the objectives of the Adeptus Mechanicus.. Â Â Also the Terminator Sword Brethren Squad has finally been fully painted. Â Â I got quite some minis waiting for paint now. Â Â This does indeed look like a proper time sink... Â These additional Black Templars, some Imperial Guard and some individual characters will be finished within the next couple of weeks hopefully. Then I will try to get on batch painting the Vostroyans that are still lurking around. Including their Command and Heavy Weapons. Â Â Then give the Deathwatch some paint. Â My take on the wonderful Space Marine Heroes release (full series 1 to...3 I guess?) also still need a ton of work before they can be handed over to the painting departmento. Â Â It's almost ironic that after around 10 years of wishful thinking up to finally ordering, sniping and collecting a full resin Death Korps of Krieg army and planning to start assembling around next year they eventually get released in plastic - lol. Â I won't lose faith in the Emperor's work though and will happily buy everything I find fitting of possible future releases. As plastic is way easier to work with it actually might only mean that I can start the army faster and the Imperial Tithe from Krieg in my crusade will end up larger as originally planned. Â The Emperor protects.
