im  seriously considering plan  B  ,  because of the extra heavy flamers , I think a leviathan is worth more than a third termi squad and a bloated  librarian

I actually dont know why you'd put the Indomitan Mantle on a 2 Wound Consul >_> EW isn't likely to do much for him...for a Preator, totes.

 

Besides, Relics now require player approval for use.

kay  so here's one for you ,  do i keep the librarian with the catprachtii armor  and the offgroup of terminators or do I   put him with Sigismund and the boys and upgrade him to tartoros

If you're giving him a Shield, always take Tartaros since you lose nothing and gain the ability to sweep. If he's going with a Cataphractii Squad, no point in giving him Tartaros :p

 

If you can get Endurance for FNP 4+ And EW, he'll help the Sigismund Unit a lot alongside any other Blessings that might make the unit killier.

Just finished another zone mortalis game. Will put up pictures when I get home.

Played the Void Strike mission from  book 3 

The story was that an imperial Army Ship  sent out a distress beacon that the Imperial Fists were tracking , when they hail the ship  they get no  answer and its floating dead in the void. Its likely going to collide with a nearby planet which would be bad , but there are also several VIPs aboard the ship  so blowing it out of the void is not an option either. It must be investigated , so  Sigismund and some of the First supported by brother Victor Nefarius and elements of the 775th  including venerable brother Humboldt make their way over to the ship. 

Humboldt and brother Victor with his terminator bodyguard are greeted by xenos horrors

Both Carnifex' charge brother Humboldt  he loses two hullpoints but things do not end well for the xenos monsters who are torn apart by him despite splitting his attacks Brother Victor casts invisibility on himself and his body guard.

The hive tyrant charges next after brother Humboldt shrugs off a few warp blasts. ( I rolled a triple 6 for his invul )  The hive tyrant strips another hull point from him but he brings the hive tyrant down to all but one wound.  In the ensuing phase none of my reserves come on , and brother Victor and his bodyguard attempt ( and fail )  to save brother Humboldt , he is rendered combat ineffective by the hive tyrant the ensuing explosion kills one Terminator then the remaining terminators and Victor destroy the hive  tyrant.

The Veteran  tactical squad cuts one of the gaunt blobs to shreds then runs them down , Sigismund and the Templar brethren actually show up to the party.

Brother Victor and his bodyguard catch up to the xenos psykers and proceed to brutalize them  The second gaunt blob charges the veteran tactical marines.  Sigismund and his templar move up to challenge the warriors

Enemy Psykers are Destroyed , Warriors are Destroyed , the last three gaunts hold but would have died next turn

The Xenos threat is purged ,brother Humboldt is recovered and returned to the ship.  Once the imperial fists reach their vessel they blow up  the imperial ship hopefully scouring the strange xenos remnants.  

Final game score  8  to 1  in my favor
