Chaplain Raeven
Hmmm, I'll give it a try with my Seraphon. Might skip the ink if the brighter green looks okay. I thought nobody likes clowns. As long as they don't have a red nose, I'm okay with it. Lostrael 1 Back to top

FinylCut
Lostrael: A great tutorial for a great green. It looks like a lot of work, but the results speak for themselves. Thanks for sharing. FC
Lostrael
Finished the model from the green tutorial. Now I really need to start with the Loyalty & Treachery vow. Haven't touched it yet. Greenz
Stop! Just stop with the awesome paint jobs!!! Just kidding, you know we love it Are the insignia(s) free hand? If so, wow, that DA symbol is spectacular
Lostrael
@ Brother Arkley: Don't do that... I don't know how to deal with that. @ Greenz: Yes it's a free hand. I'm at war with decals on shoulder pads, they never stick properly
Brother Vod
Awesome skills again! The level of detail is amazing. Just out of curiosity, roughly how long did you spend on the heavy bolter dude?
Lostrael
maybe 6-8 hours. I'm not sure. I painted other things in between... very colorful thinks. Blurs my memory a bit. Brother Vod 1 Back to top
HsojVvad
Wish I never came in here. For some reason, I can't paint no more. My burshes have mysteriously have been snapped and I can't find my other ones. They seem to be in hiding. Kidding aside, beautiful work, like WOW. Just WOW! mooftak 1 Back to top
Lostrael
Just forgot what a tedious work it is to get green stuff into these forms I made last year and remove all air bubbles. 2/3 came out okay, so I just need to repeat this cycle three times to have a enough icons. One of the power fist arm poses was a bit odd. (Bro-fist?) I attached a bird from my familiar collection to it out of curiosity how it would look. Not sure how it will look when it is painted. Greenz
Wow! Just fantastic, awesome shoulder pads. It may be tedious, but it's well worth it. I love the bird, I think that's an epic pose. My only thing is I see some mould lines on top of that combo-bolter Lostrael 1 Back to top

Lostrael
Are your termies destined to be 30 or 40k. Both. I'm part of a small Warhammer group that plays 40k and on very rare occasions 30k proxy wars. I have to confess I have some heretic ideas, what to do with them since the news of release in March. @ Brother Arkley: Isn't it a bit early to flip the table? Should I try a check pattern on power fists? I like the look but I have absolutely no idea what it means Interrogator Stobz 1 Back to top
Guest
Its never to early to flip the table when you are the subject I would add the checker pattern if I was you. We are not heretics we are just listening to his side :P Edited February 18, 2017 by Brother Arkley
Interrogator Stobz
I agree, if you are going to paint them that fantastic HH scheme then you need to paint some chequers. They don't mean anything other than personal adornment or campaign markings iirc so fill your boots. Also, you need to do them to slow down your completion rate, how else will you qualify for Brother Arkley's Slackers club? Lostrael
Actually, I need to hurry a bit. I want to finish them before moving house. Maybe I can join your slacker club later, Stobz. Interrogator Stobz
The standard you paint at, you are always welcome to join my Elmo and Bro A's club :D These things are always best done later, otherwise it wouldn't be slacking.
