Should hopeful have both Thousand Son's sorcerer poste soon. Just getting some last details painted, but once again not really had to much time that the moment.

One more Iron Warrior helbrute. I've had this model kept to one side for a while, waiting to see what the updated Sister of Battle walker would look like. But it look like it going to be a bit smaller compared to the metal version. I just really want to get this Helbrute built. The arm's came from my very first IW Helbrute back in 2003? Thank to not really know how to deal with resin back then, it was really easy removing the paint using a mold line remover.

Once again using a bit barbed wire. Adding that bit more of a threat level if this got into a trench or bunker, or stop say a Guardmen from trying to claim up with a Melta bomb. But also been careful with the amount use with the brass etching no longer been on sale.

The MkIV trophy will be base upon Ryan Alpha Legion from our game three week ago.

Just getting the metallic & blue basecoat painted onto the Thousand Son's crew for my tanks.

Update

The new Helbrute nearly complete as it just the weather powder & Nids trophy that need finish. Then he will be take part in his first game against my friend Tau force.

Also finial gone back & added the Tau trophy to my Rhino & a Iron Warrior from the Breacher squad.

After been slight delayed (headache yesterday) I've mange to get the Chaincannon Havoc unit built. The new Havoc models are cool, but not sort of what I wanted to go for, for my own models. I just need to add some of the light that are on the Genestealer cult models to the Heavy Bolter backpack.
Also just need to work out a conversion idea for the unit Champion. I think right now he going to be arm with a Combi Bolter & Chainaxe.

The Thousand Sons should be in a future update pretty soon. The tank crew is current getting painted & should hopeful be complete by tomorrow.

Update

My lap top needed fix, but it all sorted now & I can get some more update. Also I'm current working on my board for Armies on Parade that the moment.

But here the complete Chaincannon unit of Havocs. I've use the transfer from the Necromunda enforcer due to just like the Icon & felt it fitted as the unit marking. Also really happy how the White Scar trophy turn out as well.

As well as my Call of Chaos vows, there a lot more about to arrive over the next while.

Iron Warriors

- Lord with Thunder Hammer, this is for my gaming club event Rapid Fire which will be in a week time from Saturday.

- Sorcerer, I wouldn't mind converting up a Sorcerer with the new Chaos kits.

Thousand Sons

- There pretty close. I've still not had the time to spare toward complete the tanks. There pretty close. But due to event I'm attending & just other stuff. I've got half a week off in November which I'm planning on setting a day aside to get them complete. I don't want to stall on this army as it been fun collecting them & I really want to get them complete before the end of this year.

- Still buy Contempotor Dreadnought. There most like going to be December time or I might possible be getting one sooner than later.

Death Guards

- My uncle currently in Japan for the Ruby & drop by the Warhammer store there. I know I mention about the collector Death Guard models there & recent got a photo of the store & a Games Workshop bag with comment that it a late birthday present.

- I'm looking to going back to my Death Guard & add on. It been far to long (two years) since I've use them in a game or added anything. I think this is going to be my Christmas holiday project.

Been a bit stress out during the week (due people, I hate people). But "just" mange to get my board ready for this year Armies on Parade. Still getting use to my camera from my mobile.

Poster have became a personal thing to add to the board for me. Like Warhammer World events I've attended, White Dwarf I've had mention or work shown in. Lyrics from bands, from song mean a lot to me. Just recently Hosnou & Talos, my two Guinea pigs.

Also to make thing better. My uncle just drop this lot off with me. He was in Japan for the Ruby & stop by one of the store there (Manger from Germany) where he pick up the whole series 3 which really surprise me.

There will be more photos & hopeful a video upload soon of the board in a bit more detail over the week.

Just getting a new Lord built for my gaming club tournament, this weekend. He will be leding the unit of Chaincannon Havocs with Obliterator support & the Dreadclaw. He just got painted during today.

Update the 2012 Helbrute. Sadly accident happen & a bump saw this classic Helbrute fall & a few part breaking off or going missing. I think the main one was one of the Lascannon barrel breaking off & stress out, but mange to find that in the end. But it meant like the Ultramarine trophy has now been upgrade to a Primaris one & a few replacement part added.

During the weekend just there, as seen in the last update. I took part in Armies on Parade, a event I would like to support as much as possible. I think making the terrain was the longest part of this board. Painting only taken about a hour to be honesty as it was mostly just spray painting. This just help speed up thing, but also worry about the sand getting remove in large section if I where to dry brush it.

There a few thing I would have like to added but didn't have the time or material.

The board also has light & play music, the bunker has my Ipod & speaker.

One of the thing I've been doing for my Armies on Parade boards over the year, is to add poster. Beside breaking up area of the board, it sort like Easter eggs & allow me to add personal stuff to the board as well as using poster from the 40k City fight that GW use to have as a PDF.

So some of the poster, as seen here. Show off my two four month old Guinea pigs I got back in August as a early birthday present. As well as adding the Vindicator, photos by the White Dwarf team.

Since last year I've been adding a random model. Genestealer last year. I though I would take a page from the Warhammer World Bloodoath display & add a Vindicare Assassin to the board & see if anyone could find him.

Then yesterday, though get a photo with all the models not been on it. Next week, this will be my World Eater new home & display in my room along side my 2012 & last year display boards.

During the weekend, my Uncle stop by & mange to get the complete set of Space Marines hero's. He was in Japan for the Ruby & just ask if there was anything I wanted pick up from any Games Workshop store as a birthday present.

I never expected to get the whole set to be honesty, but there really cool models.

It partly them that got me looking back that my Death Guard force & bring them back out. There already a large list of models to add on & with the aim getting them back up before the end of the year. As well as get some games.

Already got one of two Lord sorted, along with two Death Guard to fill out a few of my current units.

Also got around to varnish & just getting some part added to the Thousand Son's Exalted Sorcerer's.

Finial getting around getting some more work done to the Tanks. There all varnish & I have half a week off, next week. So I'm going to keep one day aside to get weather powder added to them all.

So right now, it looking like.

- Just bought the Executioner today & Chaos Rhinos.

- I've also got the part to convert up my Autocannon Havocs.

- With Christmas arrive soon. Part of me thinking of getting a second Dreado Dreadnought since I have a spare FW IW Dreadnought head & maybe try use them a bit more in games?

Thousand Son's

- Get there Contemptor Dreadnought which will ether be next week or in three week time.

- If the rumour of a Chaos Sorcerer are true with the Psychic awaking. Then I think I get him as a third Exalted Sorcerer.

- Object marker

World Eater

- Still got my Knight sitting there in a box. With thing settling down a bit I hopeful have more time toward my own models.

Death Guard

- Second Helbrute, that arrive soon.

- Main Warlord, Lord. Just bought one of the Nurgle character today to use as a base.

- Get the Japan Plague Marines painted soon

- Get more Plague Drones.

Next week, I had have a week off where I'm wanting to try get some of my own hobby done. Other wise with thing settling down a bit, I'm aim to keep 5-7.30pm as time toward my own models. Aim to try spend Sunday & Monday as building, Tuesday & Friday as painting.

Thanks. Back in September, I posted about sorting a gaming table that home. So there will be terrain in this log pretty soon. End of the day I'd like to try get more games. But I also want a board that look cool, it just as important as the models we collect in the hobby. I'm hoping to start this around Christmas time. But for the time been, I'm using terrain from past Armies on Parade board & I've also got a few spare trench that where not use for this year AoP board.

Just when you go to Warhammer World for example & see some of the theme table they have. Or one of the gaming club use to be around, always had a really nice Eldar theme table for there tournaments.

Looking good, but could I get a close-up of the sorcerers?

I'll try get a photo with my mobile in the next few days. Try get a close up of the text on the armour as well, useing the Forge World transfer.

During the weekend, my Iron Warriors took part in my wargaming club two day tournament. Maybe one of the best. Had five great games. Really enjoyed getting Warsmith Abhorred Riddick back in the gaming scene. Also enjoy useing the Lord Discordant & the Dreadclaw.

The Iron Warriors pick up the best army award.

With Armies on Parade (last week) & Rapid Fire now settle down. My Armies on Parade board will now be home for the World Eater

After a busy few months, thing have started to settle down. As of tomorrow it back to my normal time toward the hobby. But here what been happen so far

Hopeful this has turn out to be a bit more of a clear photos of the Sorcerer. I will try get a close up by my mobile camera, just still getting use to that & try get decent photos as it doesn't seem to work that well that my painting station when taken photos around 8.30pm.

The bird going to get spray painted tomorrow & hopeful get some paint that least tomorrow or during the week. Acting as the Sorcerer Familiar.

Then the second Sorcerer.

Part have arrive to get the two Armiger fully built. From the loin cloth, trophy & spike. They most like get built during my lunch hour as it only take a few moment for that. Then it just green stuff the base.

I also mange to pick up a OOP Nurlge Dreadnought. But as seen he not in the greatess of condition. I didn't mind, end of the day it mean conversion. I do have a spare FW Chaos Dreadnought leg I might use toward this & got a few varanguard horn to add. It just a Twin Linked Lascannon I'm needing to try & get.

Going on with my Plague Marines. Finial got around to building the main Lord in Power Armour. The theme of my army is a warband with a few different squads join them. There on a crusade in Nurgle name. So the Lord will be speaking in the Dark language of Chaos & has oath of moment seal.

I just need the Nurgling from the Champion spure.

The Executioner for the Iron Warriors. Led up to the codex release, I though it was pretty cool getting this new HQ chose. But there part of the model I was not to keen on. I though I would use Call of Chaos to finial get around to adding one to my Iron Warriors.

There a few parts I need to go back & sort out during tomorrow as well.

I think I will base this model on a Champion I converted back in 2004. This was back when I was getting my Iron Warriors ready to return to a few events like Conflict Scotland & events that Warhammer World.

The Champion (only photo could find) is in the middle squad. He use Bile body & one of the IW helmets for the conversion.

The model had been inspired by this Word Bearer Dark Apostle. This was from one of the USA staff memeber & there army was part of a Battle report in the White Dwarf, against the Black Templars. I belive this also had a impact on a game of Battle Fleet Gothic as well.

Back to the Plague Marines. Nearly got the Hero set complete. It just add tuft grass, varnish, Blood for the Blood god & gloss varnish.

Also got the Chaos Knigh for my World Eater built during Tuesday. Rest of the armour plate will get spray painted separate with Mephiston red, top hull will get mask. There still battle damage to add & a base to sort out.

I also be using the Khorne stamp I made last year for my World Eater. While the banner will have the template I made for the unit Icons, when spray painting white.

Thousand Sons Rhino. Finial mange to get the time start adding weather powder to them. So just a few more layer to add. Other wise I need to go back & paint the lights.

I will now 100% be changing the Launcher arm for a Combat arm. End of the day I prefer combat & just have a nice as he a bit cheaper point wise in the case he needed for a event.

Then the Havocs Rhinos have arrive. I've got Thursday off, so I'm looking keep that day aside to get the Plasticard armour plate all sorted.

Also got two Plague Drone arrive by mail order. Then two week time I should have two Contemptor Dreadnoughts for my Thousand Sons.

Right now my aim just to try get as much of my delayed models built as possible & ready for the Christmas holidays. I find it take me a bit longer to build models.

Past week has mainly been getting as much built as possible that the moment. Or with a friend returning to the hobby, they've wanted to try get a few games 40k & warcry so that take up the time I would usely keep for painting.

But here what we have so far.

WIP Executionor

Plague Marine Lord

Soon my Autocannon Helbrute will have a Close Combat arm instead of the Launcher. I'm also thinking of adding a few new trophy base on the Dark Zone campaign he took part in during last year.

New unit of Autocannon Havocs that where built during today. I've just got a fifth Battle Brother to add, but I currently don't have any T face berserker helmets & no bit site currently have them in stock :(

Also mange to recently get these FW Iron Warrior doors. There was around 6 of these on sale a few days ago on ebay. These two will be use for my Chaincannon & Autocannon unit of Havocs. With there Rhinos been part of my Call of Chaos vows. They'll hopeful get built by next week, with the plasticard armour currently been made that the moment.

I've just add trophy to the new Knight for my World Eater Warband. Keeping with the theme of my World Eater. They will be a mix of Ork & Ultramarine trophy. I've already got a few idea for the marking, using the Khorne stamp I made last year for the warband. I'm also looking into some of the FW transfer, I think it Mortis. Use that to show his past loyalty.

Then the two Armiger for my current Knight force are a step further been ready for undercoated. Aim to get that done on Tuesday & start painting the Knight by the end of the week.

With me going back to my Death Guard warband. Though was about time to add a few combat drone to my list.

With that, one of my current unit needed a Champion. I though it would be nice to model a Champion base on one of the classic 2nd ed metal Champion.

Last week, Games Workshop posted up a really cool preview on there community page. For the 40k side, it was the next campaign book & the Sorcerer model. Needless to say I'm looking forward to both, along with the rest of the preview from that day.

I'm planning on buying two Sorcerer that the moment. One for my Iron Warriors & one for the Thousand Son's who will go on a disk. For the Iron Warriors, part of me thinking using this as a updated version of Krull. Krull was (back 2002) a Sorcerer I added to my Iron Warriors the day before Conflict Scotland. It was just down to really like the 2nd ed era Metal Sorcerer. In 2012, I added a new version just using parts from the Chaos Marines kits & Grey Knights. He was built & painted led up to getting my Iron Warriors ready for the White Dwarf & as part of the Call of Chaos vow in 2012.

But I think this is more suiting what I had in mind. Another part is possible bring in element of Astorax, he was a Sorcerer for a IW warband in the Will of Iron Comic.

For the book - I'm always looking forward to the narrative side of the hobby & new background. Most all, gaming wise my Iron Warriors will be getting some update. Only thing is, I don't want this to become a bandwagon force like Iron Hands have became (before FAQ?).
When it come to the gaming side of the hobby. It not how I wish to enjoy the hobby, collecting a force due to it been current trend for winning games. I have my own view & why I dislike it.

One thing I'd like to see maybe return is the Siege Breacker Mace. It was gutting when Lord Narach loss his Axe of Blind Fury when Traitor Legion supplement was release in 2016. Seen him gain the Siege Breacker Mace relic (converted with Varanguard Mace). Only to loss that.

Also I wouldn't mind the Kai Gun returning as well as a relic.

Just as things look like there on track... I get hit by a cold. It seem to be settling down, with yesterday been the worst phase. There also not a lot of time with Call of Chaos nearly it deadline in three weeks? I've got Monday off, but to be honesty it would be more helpful having my Christmas holidays now.

The Executioner. After today, he now ready to get transfer. But due to the weather over the past few days, I'm going to hold back on varnish any of my models until it a bit more settle. But if I can get my vows to this stage, they'll be complete for Call of Chaos. But if I can get them trasnfer & varnish by 15th that be event better.

The unit of Havocs. Part for the finial Battle Brother arrive over the past few days, so he get built tomorrow. Again there just waiting for transfer & varnish.

Spent a bit of time tonight painting the two Armiger tonight as well.

Then my Chaos Knight sitting there & waiting. If I can get the armiger sorted tomorrow. Then this Knight will get painted by the end of the week. He also going to take part in his first game as he will be part of my World Eater force. So exspect a lot of Khorne Icon added to him.

Sorcerer pretty much there. I think I'll add a few parts from the Warhammer Flagellant models as there a few cool extra. Just cover the robe & armour part.

This arrive on Tuesday. Thousand Son's Contemptor Dreadnought.

Update

During the weekend saw the release of Faith & Fury, along with the plastic Sorcerer model. Not only that, but my local store was also holding a store birthday with it been open for twenty years. While I didn't really start going until 2007, I did drop by now & then with cineworld been near by. I think one my first stop there was when Lord of the Ring Fellowship was release.

Sadly not had the time to read the background yet, just two more week until my holiday start. But I do have my first game with the new set of Iron Warriors rules during the week. Going try a bit of everything.

While looking back that past White Dwarf. I've been thinking possible doing a conversion, like Pete done for his Warsmith. It just more something to do & see how it turn out using the Servitor from the Mechanius range. So this might be something happen led up to Christmas.

Here the Havocs I've been painting over the past while. With the fifth Battle Brother added after getting few part sorted for his conversion. I've just add soot weather powder & Blood for the Blood god.

I'm liking the enforcer icon/transfer from Necromunda & think I might use this as my warband icon.

Also finial getting around to add a Battle Brother to one of the three 10x Chaos Marine squads. Getting the order to execute order 66!!!

Like the Havocs, the Master of Execution just need Blood for the Blood god added. Then that be the model all finish.

Armiger have been getting there. But have had to be put on hold for the past week. It just getting the trophy, base & transfer added before getting them varnish & weather powder.

Second Lord Discordant. I'm still working on adding a Breacher Shield to the model & he could be ready for painting by the weekend.

I couldn't quite get the Iron Warrior Greater Possessed sorted & hobby fund been use for other stuff that the moment. But with them been part of my Call of Chaos vow, though best maybe adding some to my World Eater. Something I was going to do when they where first release early in the year. Seen them as Chosen among Khorne as part of my Warband narrative.

Just been spending today sorting the two Rhinos for my Chain-cannon & Autocannon Havoc unit. So one will get painted on my day off during tomorrow, the second one get sorted next week.

Also just got the new Sorcerer built two or so hour ago. Really like the new model. So this is going to be the updated version of my Sorcerer Krull, who's been part of my Iron Warrior warband since 2002.

The first version of Krull to the left was bought the day before Conflict Scotland 2002. My first tournament. I bought the model purely because I like the Sorcerer model & change my list to included him. Since then it always became a thing for me to paint a model with in the last few days leading up to a event I'm attending.

Krull to the right was the updated version back in 2012. After getting this version of my IW's up to 1500pts, with the aim of bring back character from past era of my army but also when getting the Iron Warriors ready for the Army of the Month article for the White Dwarf. In fact this model was painted for Call of Chaos in 2012.

I'm looking forward getting the new version of Krull painted. But it be after my Call of Chaos vows are complete.

I'm also getting this Warsmith painted as a gift for a friend. He nearly complete. Aim to try get him finish by end of the week & get him posted.

Finial - Knight for my World Eater warband. For Call of Chaos, once his shoulder pads are painted up he will be complete. But he not complete to my standard as I'm having to wait until after Call of Chaos (hobby fund, before money use for Christmas present for family) so I can get a few transfer from Forge World. along with other finial details.
