If your planning on replace the head, just watch out for the back part of the armour. For me I like the new plastic sorcerer, it got a lot cool detail & a LOT better than the finecast version release in 2012.

But also got plans convert another Sorcerer base around the one from Will of Iron comic

That the Havocs w/Autocannon & Master of Execution now complete. I have tomorrow off, so it going to be spent painting the Lord Discordant, getting the Autocannon Armiger & a Greater Possessed model built.

Quick update

A model I've made as a Christmas gift to a friend. This should arrive to them pretty soon. It great how the sperate part for the new Chaos Marine backpack fit over the Deathwatch Thunder Hammer mean I didn't have to worry to much about remove the =][= icon, it just got cover up.

Finial got around to remove the Missile Launcher arm from this Helbrute. Replace it with a Combat arm. Just the recent Chapter approve was the finial bit that made me make this chose.

Ended up having today off & spent it painting up the new Sorcerer & the Lord discordant.

I don't think I will get the Lord Discordant 100% complete for Call of Chaos, but he will be enough for the vow to get complete. So if I can get the ruin & the base painted, it be complete for Call of Chaos reason as there far to much going on that the moment. But the Lord Discordant will get finish painted, once my Christmas holidays start :D

The second Greater Possessed. Went with the same model out of the two. I just really don't like the other Greater Possessed model, it not terrible it just more personal view. While the one use here, I can remove the parts that I'm personal not keen on & to try fit in with my World Eater warband. They get painted on Saturday .

It just the Armiger for Call of Chaos. He sort of built, plan to have him undercoated & painted during Friday.

I'm now looking that possible added a Terrax Pattern Assault Drill to my Iron Warriors, which will carry a unit of Ten chosen (option) with Thunder Hammers, Chainaxe & Combi Bolter though out the squad.

In the Iron Warriors novel by Graham McNeill - During Chapter due ark, Honsou warband make use of these. Also my friend Ryan use one during my birthday game that Warhammer World early in September

Once again it been pretty busy. Between painting armies & models for friends, aim get them complete before I stop (Wednesday) for my Christmas holidays. Then back in August I posted that I just gotten two Guinea Pigs (Honsou & Talos, see photos over on my facebook page) who where brother from the same littler. But as there growing up they've gone though diffrent phase & the past week as seen Honsou become a bit aggressive. So that been taken up a bit more time in just make sure that both them are ok but also research seen what I can do & just constantly learning about them.

While start of my Christmas holidays was spent seen Bury Tomorrow. Then yesterday - "try" to see Star wars, only for the screening to get cancelled due to issue that the cinema :(

But the holidays are here. I'm looking forward to getting as much space as possible over the next two week.

I have been painting but not posting as much as it take about half a hour upload the image & type the post. Also any time toward the hobby over this month was focuse on getting my Call of Chaos vow complete.

While I didn't get a lot of my models 100% finish to my standard, I got them to a standard I didn't mind using for a one off game

So aim during the first week of the holiday to get these models complete.

I've also mange to get the brand version of Krull complete. The new Chaos Sorcerer model has been fun to paint. I'm now thinking re-painting the green flames on the Master of Possessed to follow the red scheme Krull has.

One of my Call of Chaos vow. The Nurgle Lord whole be the main Warlord for my games. He just need to get varnish tomorrow.

The Chaos Knight for my World Eater. Just got the transfer two days after the Call of Chaos deadline.

The second Lord Discordant just need transfer that get done tomorrow.

With the recent release of Chapter Approve. Needless to say it was really cool, seen all the point drops. With this, I've been looking give my Champion combi bolter. The new Terminators combi bolter look cool

Also something that been converted up during the Christmas holidays. Just needing to try & find Ork Power Claws. Just I've been meaning to convert up the new Obliterators since getting Shadowspear early in the year. But I'm also unsure how some events might be, with the models been larger.

My aim to try get the new Obliterators to still fit in with the look of the once seen in this log, but also with older Obliterators I converted back in 2001. All this will be shown in a future post, once the Obliterators are all complete built.

Thanks for the comment Mechanist. While been busy again - This time it been building models during the holidays. I think since Sunday it been building, transfer, varnish over the past four days, as seen below.

Today Christmas, my favourite time of the year. It seem the Chaos gods listen to me & granted me a copy of the limited edition First Wall novel. I was oringlay advance order this, how every on that day. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Adding onto that, it was during the Sister of Battle advance order headache. When the order was place for the novel, I'd just gotten to the print screen only for it to lock up. When the Games Workshop web site return to normal... I sadly missed out. It been a great & well need holiday. With a few days left, I'm aim on trying to get as much models built & painted as possible. But until then, here last few hobby that been done for 2019.

Late Christmas present that arrive on the 27th from family. Art work is from Warhammer Art. I've already got another two limited edtion prints from the Iron Warrior seen in codex Chaos Space Marines & the front cover of ADB Black Legion novel.

I've been spending past few days painting up the Chaos terrain, present from my two guinea pigs. It been really great to paint & I'm looking forward trying it out in a few games as well. Just trophy left to paint, so that get done tomorrow.

The Siege Dreadnought almost there. Bit order arrive yesterday & it just to add the oop FW IW Helbrute helmet, so that also get sorted during tomorrow as well. Like the Siege Dreadnought before this one. Iron Warrior with Melta there - Remind me in game & tie in with Angel Exterminatius novel. I also like the idea that he there to act as a guard to deal with the Dreadnought in case it goes berserker.

Also pick up this, some great art work & just for background more than anything else. I've already got the new gang built up (just base) as cultist for my World Eater.

Also pick up this box of Chaos Marines. There going to get to try follow the art work by John Blanche (with a few update due to parts release) as that art work is the reason I've been collecting Chaos Space Marines since 1996.

With the decade coming to a end. Hard to believe I started this version of my Iron Warriors in 2011.

- Mark ten year of collecting Iron Warriors

- Move away from the old inks. No matter the change to the paint range since then - It nice to see the IW's I painted in 2011 are the same as the once today.

- Painting skills change. Happen 2009 to 2010 when collect my Space Wolves.

It been a long road, but I can 100% say I've been happy with every single thing my Iron Warriors have achieve in the hobby. Back in 2011, there was aim & goals, but I would never have guess what was in store.

Been to a lot of great events, fought a lot of great games & met a lot of amazing hobbiest over the years.

When it come to the hobby - I'm collecting model & armies for my enjoy first & foremost. Bring this collection, I can honesty say I've enjoy building & painting every single model, other wise they would never have been added.

While this year alone. It been really great to be a Chaos hobbiest. Rule come & go. Models are longer lasting. We saw Shadowspear, follow by Chaos Marines with a few new units & return of Abaddon. Later seen Chaos Knight get a release, something I would never really have expected & most of all getting a new kit.

If there few thing I would like to see

- Upgrade spure for the Legions

- Khorne Berserker

- Obliterators as a separate kit, allow combat Oblits option.

Thanks. I think I do this as Champion for the squad I want to try build, base on John Blanche art work. Just he only shown four Iron Warrior battle brother in the conversion art work.

VIXI: I have lived, I have survived.

Quick update on the chaos terrain. It been really great fun to paint & just add the Ultramarine & White Scar trophy today. This should be complete by tomorrow.

The Siege Dreadnought. He will get painted during tomorrow & aim get him ready for the first game 2020, when my gaming club return.

With the points drop in chapter approve, that my Champion arm with brand new Combi Bolter.

Just two days left of my holidays. The Siege Dreadnought going to get painted during tomorrow. Sunday just getting a few models from ETL & Call of Chaos finish. I'd also like to get my Chaos Knight I bought back November, built on Sunday as well.

Start thing off. My copy of the January White Dwarf arrive (Subscriber) & pretty cool to see my Iron Warriors get a mention. With photos of Warsmith Abhorred Riddick, Lord Discordant & my two oop FW IW Dreadnoughts. Also Lord Narach taken on a Riptide. Game was back in September while I was that Warhammer World to spend my birthday.

The Siege Dreadnought pretty much there.

VIXI - Latin for, "I have lived", "I have survived". This was inspired by a band I'm into - Bury Tomorrow as they've just release a new song a few week ago, The Grey (VIXI) & seen them live on the 18th December (as always great band live). I felt this was somthing my Siege Dreadnought needed, it connected.

Also here one of the two Thousand Son's contemptor Dreadnought that are currently getting painted. My Thousand Sons are getting there. I've just few bit detail on the Predator & to get a third Exsalted Sorcerer convert up using the new Chaos Sorcerer release with Faith & Fury.

The Khorne Knight for my World Eater warband.

Following on. The Knight I bought back in November, who be part of the Knight detachment ally to my Iron Warriors. There a lot of work that need to get done & hope to get a bit of time during tomorrow night & Friday to get this knight built.

One of the boxes where already shown. But the second one was pick up recent as that going toward my unit of Chosen. I've also order the Mechanicus Drill transport that will carry them into battle.

The box shown before been kept aside for the unit of Iron Warriors I would like to base upon John Blanche art work from White Dwarf 202 & the 2nd ed codex Chaos Space Marines.

How the Obliterators getting for yourself Midnightmare?

For the past week I've been converting up the shadowspear Obliterator for my Iron Warriors. They've been one of my top units since been brought into 40k back in 3rd ed codex Chaos Space Marines. Back then you use to be able to get 6 models in a unit, but they where complete different gaming wise in the way the unit would fire there weapons.

It was mainly due to conversion a friend had done for there Thousand Son's army back in 3rd ed (see 2001 era below of my own version).

I ended up using some of the varanguard part you drop off. Around the neck guard I've added some of the spike from the Varanguard kits. It just add to the aggressionve vs the sort teeth the Obliterator sculpt have on there. As well as adding them as tusk to the IW helmet shown on the second Obliterator.
