[DW] Blackthorn and Swordhand: OOC Thread

Noctus - if you want to do the Desiato bit now, we can do. As of now, you haven't given Rubio any orders. (And/or the Imperial Navy vessels in any position to help.)

If you voice your ideas, I will be able to move things forward.

If we can get to it quickly, sure, though I think seeing to repairs, healing, and rearming would likely be the smart thing to do. Pretty sure Guillermo is still technically in critical...

The smartest choice would probably go in under the guise of moving in to assist the Glory Be with a counter-boarding assault.

That also works.... But provides less initial freedom to explore the ship than if we were fending off Tyranids. That being said, I'm not entirely against beheading a Rogue Trader...  :whistling:

We have a Raven Guard-Descended marine though :whistling: :whistling:

Noctus, if you give orders to Rubio I am happy to carry them out today and/or tomorrow so that you have time to respond before Monday.

You are right that Montesa is still critically injured, though in theory this is a new scene so he would be able to recover wounds with fate points if it mattered.

So you can decide how long a time period between Montesa returning to the ship and them "investigating" Desiato.

That works CM, I'm working on a post where Tyber takes that moment to get himself ready for the rampage. Passing his chapter's way of honoring those that fall to Ghent, just as he explained to Ghent way back when he did the same for Vaidan. He is also speaking out loud to Vaidan through Vaidan's bolt pistol, explaining why he can no longer carry it.

So I have spoken to Nineswords regarding a narrative (i.e., self-contained) hunt against the injured Lictor that Akkad's combat-team fought against amidst the burning field. Weakened (but still formidable), the Lictor has managed to crawl to Beregar City and is causing havoc. If you are happy for Nineswords to use your character in a narrative post, let him know.

Similarly, if you are engaging in the ship-clearing, let me know.

Both of these will take place after the Desiato scene is resolved.

I'm good with what you want to do CM, I trust your ability to write Tyber in a narrative, after all, I've seen you do so well with others over the last three years. Or if MR is going to do that part, I trust him as well as both myself and MR have used each other's characters in narrative posts before.

No problem - I must confess that right now I haven't read your post. I think we can assume, then, that in the time-skip to Montesa's altercation with Desiato, you and your strike-team are busy slaying xenos and venting your rage at all the death and loss you have experienced.

If you need to edit/add anything to your post you can do so.

We can then have you return at a later date (before Monday, after the Desiato scene has resolved)

I liked Mazers post too much to shoe horn Vorr into some boarding action, unless he goes off on his own which seems a bit risky but hey he's a Red Talon they're basically Flesh Tearers without the Black Rage :P might be easier to follow Montesa around for a bit and see how the Desiato scene plays out.

To be fair, Reyner I was going to drop you in with us, but didn't know which way you wanted to go, so didn't want to impose on you   I am sure Vorr can find employment for his talents?  Perhaps helping Greysight chase down that Lictor?  Give Nine a shout and see if he's up for it.

Maybe crew up with A.T. or Morovir?

Mol, no worries, have plenty to juggle.

MR.

I was partially considering having Montesa approach Tyber about stealing Ghent's weapons, but decided against it.

Ahh... the fun part about the cultural differences between Astartes Chapters.

When I post later this morning I'm happy to write something that happens before MR's post that covers it, if you're willing to allow me to borrow your character for it.
