The previously mentioned Slopper and Scabber are now up for pre-order.

The Underhive Outcasts Gang is now Sold Out Online and will be sort-of replaced by a four-model, single-sprue box that builds the same models (release date TBC).

We're also due the following items in the near-future:

Delaque Weapons and Upgrades

Underdog Card Pack

You can find more info about the latter two items here.

In the animated trailer there is an eight wheeled truck that has wheels very similar to one of the rumour engine pics, but it also seems to be made from scavenged cargo containers so not sure if it's actually going to be a mini.

The LVO Preview gave us confirmation that we'll be seeing Ash Wastes-content before long, including vehicular combat...

...but that's it. The animated video was nice enough, giving some neat Borderlands vibes, and I'm trying to stay positive but it's difficult to not feel disappointed when we've know Ash Wastes are coming since 2019 (?) and they haven't shown us a single model. Ah well, hopefully something new soon!

So, Gorkamorka meets Necromunda, then? :) (I dimly remember some Ash Wastes vehicle rules in the Citadel Journal/Fanatic, as well as a gang for them...)

Necro-morka? Gorka-munda??? ;)

I can vaguely remember there was an Ash Wastes Nomads gang released the best part of 20 years ago. Looking forward to seeing the full range of minis and models being released alongside this!

...just a shame GW decided they didn't need to actually show any today... :(

I was thinking Borderlands too!

Ye hivers of poor memory (at least not as bad as Wade and Eddie today, who claimed this was the first time we are going to the Ash Wastes!)

The ash wastes was a huge supplement for necromunda first edition! The nomad gang first turned up in the journal (and reprinted in gang war I think). But starting in Necromunda Magazine 3 they had a multi-issue release of the first Ash wastes edition - nomads, guilders, caravans, clan house prospectors and shanty dwellers were the wastes-specific gangs, and there were rules for vehicles (whcih imported the 2nd edition/gorkamorka rules) and beasts (not from GM), as well as ash wastes conditions and other rules. You can see the covers and blurbs of the magazine here, and in the following spoiler box:

The original rules can be found on Yaktribe too (campaign, vehicles, beasties, conditions, vehicle equipment, and so on).

Then in Necromunda second edition, in fanatic magazine, the ash wastes was again released (the nomads gang for in the hive in issue 31, then the ash wastes supplement second edition in 93). Sadly not as developed as first edition ash wastes, but both were phenomenal works - if light on the world building and sophistication which I'm sure SG are going to lavish us with.

Sadly, I didn't realise Necromunda Magazine was a thing. I don't have any copies of it, so it's very likely I never saw a copy of it in stores (because it's absolutely something I'd have bought if I did) - was it mail-order only? :sad.: (rather ironically, I do have all of the articles mentioned from YakTribe...)

So sad to hear that, it was such a great (if now very of its time) hobby space! I loved the journal, so when first magazine, gang war, was announced in it, and then the magazine to succeed it I was very aware of them and bought a few. They were advertised in white dwarf too, alongside Town Crier and the other specialist magazines, but I can imagine not every gw stocked them - although I think my local store in Glasgow did. But my mum may have mail ordered them, I'm not sure.

I look forward to getting my Mad Max on.

"I am gravely disappointed. Again you have made me unleash my dogs of war. Look at what remains of your gallant scouts."

I look forward to getting my Mad Max on.

Im already carving styrene for hills and rock formations, also contemplating chopping up an old Space Marine bike to make a halftrak by attaching it to the tracks off one of these.

Time to stick on Road Warrior and annoy the missus, again, again, again...
