MG is right in how players may elect to drop out of Squad Mode, but if there is only one player in Squad Mode, it ends automatically as players cannot squad up with themselves. On top of this there are the usual caveats about Cohesion, Support Range etc. Does this work for you lads? Someone else could call for a Bolter Assault at a cost of 3CP in this Round and we could all switch to that. Then next Round (as each Character can only benefit from 1 SQDM in any given Round) we could go back to LbE... but wouldn't need to pay the 2CP for it again? You may attempt a Difficult (-10) Psyniscience Test to detect the nature of 1 Target (Blip) per DoS. Beware, for the foe is guided by a malign intellect...as well you know. Actually, I have forgotten that you are all facing a Fear (2) foe. Being a Marine this drops down to a -10 penalties for all Wp tests. Normally this would cause a Cohesion Damage challenge since you are in SQD, but we'll ignore it this Round since I b0rked it . As of next round however, (I will use the narrative excuse of the FLAMBÉ-STEALER) the Kill Team Leader must pass a Wp test (with the modifier inflicted by the Fear causing foe ie -10 in this case) to resist the damage (-2 Cohesion) This test only needs to be passed once per combat. If it is failed, Cohesion will be reduced by 2 points, until the Leader can Test again. Fail again, -2 more etc. You can find more about this in Core p.277 "And They Shall Know No Fear." All the Terminator Armour's are Old. Old is Good in 40K. Mk's 2 - 5 give Fellowship Bonuses and Mk 2 and 3 give bonuses to prevent Cohesion Damage. Shouldn't the TDA that we are all wearing get similar qualities? (Armour Histories, Chapter Trappings, Master Sig Wargear Affects, Deeds, Distinctions, and I think there's even a Squad Mode somewhere - for Ultramarines). You can't mitigate everything. He also has Fearless, so as I understand it he is safe from the stealers fear effect. Is there anyway he can help the others overcome fear or so? Edit: On the round 2 map, Nergüi should be eastwards (towards the wall), after the stealer died he had a half action move. However, as speaking is a Free Action, and due to the fact you are a Chaplain, I will allow you to provide Assistance on this test (ie, Lysi gains +10 to his roll) on a successful Difficult (-10) Fellowship Test. The difficulty represents Philemon being in melee, and therefore distracted. Acceptable?
