Cooee, Mr Mazer!

 

When the thread opens, please use your first post to describe your immediate situation, any observations your character may make, and their general intentions. Obviously, this is a one-shot loosely on rails, so use the Imperial Army post as the focus to bring your 'squad' together. Feel free to add any narratively interesting fighting, obviously bear in mind the types of opposition you must face (no God Mode running through World Eaters etc), but go ahead and add any action you want.

As you've spotted, bud, yes and no. It's a...'semi-permeable membrane' at the moment.

@Mazer Rackham sorry for the delay; I fell asleep while typing this up. I have re-imagined/re-tooled my techmarine into a tactical marine/Mor Deythan operative for your review using the same starting ability score rolls and whatnot, mainly so @Xin Ceithan, your friend and mine, can run a techmarine untrammeled.

For clarity, Tro can obviously post Tyr acting in sub/semi automated mode, until he's attended by, oh you know, some dude with a servo arm....

So, would / should that be a sensible objective  currently or is attending the automata beyond the scope of this combat?

No, not at all beyond the combat. You can take any normal actions suitable, in this case a Tech Use Test. Obviously Tech Use is a Full Action, and you'll need to move, so it would take a couple of turns, but perfectly ok, so act accordingly.

 

Connecting to Tro should increase his combat effectiveness.
