Got one from Element no issues, though the site was a little bit glitchy with a couple of bad gateway errors.

I suspect GW have held more stock for themselves to sell through their sites, then anything left over can backfill the third parties next week.

Funny that a lot of youtubers were declaring that "this would be the first 40k launch box that's going to flop" and it's seemingly moving even faster than Leviathan.

Could just be GW under producing of course, but that feels unlikely for a FourteeKay launch box.

I struggled with the Wayland site at just gone 10am, my basket kept emptying and it would hang when trying to check out. It appeared to have settled down by 10.30 and there was still stock but by that point, I'd opted for another supplier.

I couldn't even get on the Element site at 10am and had the 'limited online stock' warning email from them so didn't try again.

I hope everyone gets the box they want.

I get the vibe anyone trying to scalp this will be in trouble :)

The top 3 FLGS in Ireland still have copies left

In UK, Element Games appear sold out, Weyland still in stock

Am opting out myself but hoping to pick up Ork minis 2nd hand

Is anyone else bothered that Armageddon got moved out of the Segmentum Solar on the latest map?

I could understand a couple of pixels like it tends to happen from edition to edition, but this latest shift is several thousand light-years to the "east".

Seriously?!

My Ozzy site still has 39 available. @21% off retail makes it a great savings

Edit..... now 35...

Mind if I ask which site?

I used to keep a list of discount retailers worldwide, and should probably look at updating it!

@Lord Marshaldid they give a good reason for it flopping.? Other than a desire to see GW ‘fail’?

My small gaming club has four people looking to start Orks, largely due to the lovely new models.

I get that some established Marine player’s lamented the lack of super spiffy new unit types.

"The Space Marine half is boring" mostly, which feels like it gets said every single edition to be honest. I'm not a Marine fan myself, so I'm sympathetic to that opinion, buuuuuuut it's rarely ever as unanimous a view you'd think just by looking online compared to how many of the latest Primaris releases get plonked down on a table.

"It's priced too high", which is the more reasonable assumption in my opinion... but then, when have high prices ever really hurt GW's bottom line before, at least for 40k?

Honestly, maybe they put up a limited number for preorder to ensure the scalpers didn’t get them all.

I got to my local store 2 hours early as I didn’t know what to expect. I ended up being 2nd person there. By the time the store opened there were tons of people. I think my local GW said they had 60 ready to go. I would guess by the time I checked out and left that there was way more than 60 people both in the store and waiting to get in.

I was kind of confused and thought “maybe there is not much interest in this Ed, but the line kept getting longer.

also looks like GW still has preorder up on their site.

My FLGS still has 13 in stock, but they'll sell out eventually. I think they started at 45 or something like that.

Apart from that one AoS starter, has an edition launch box ever actually sold badly?

heresy 3rd ed sold so badly uk retails were dropping it to 35% off in some instances

Did anyone compared Armageddon box Warboss with the current Warboss in Mega Armor?

Minicompare has them

That was limited to a couple of retailers.  It’s not an indication it sold badly.
