I managed to get a decent deal on the launch box in Australia, just under $350AUD, but I can't do both. Im glad that I skipped Armageddon, but honestly after the Custodes box I hadn't been planning on buying any more big boxes for a while. Then GW naturally drops the one thing that would change my mind on that. I do think that i need to re-prioritise my painting que, as I've been focusing on RPG and board game minis for a while now and my Warhammer has been building up again. For comparison, the mk3 box with a land raider explorer, 30 marines, support weapons and a deredeo was 160 euros in 2023. And at least some of those shoulder pads and shields have a different finish/grey tone than the bodies so I'm guessing we are actually looking at resin 3d printed ones? I'm guessing we'll see the standard-issue "Warhammer Community and/or influencers paint up the new Maximus Battle Group!" on Friday for painted examples.
