  1. Forgefather, really great work! The chaplain dreadnought is one of my very favorite things from Forgeworld, you did a great job with him along with the rest of the army. Hope to see more soon. -W
  2. Lolol Bjorn Firewalker, good one ! Spear of Achilles, good on you for doing this project for your friend. I actually like all the details of the model I think there's a great foundation in there. To the 'kicked in the groin' pose ... I think if you get creative with the bass so that the bottom of the feet get pushed forward to like a 30 degree angle and push the torso backward on the legs... you might get a more aggressive effect of Russ jumping / attacking. I dunno if that makes sense? Best of luck, -W
  3. Got the vents up on the display walls, I definitely got better at cutting the same plasticard pieces out... over... and over again lol. Just a few more details to add now and I'm gonna prime this display up for painting. -W
  4. Small update on the display, I'm gonna make some gothic-y vents to fill in the bare spots of the plasticard walls. -W
  5. Awesome paint scheme, looking forward to seeing more ! -W
  6. He looks great Darklighter, well done ! -W
  7. The Agressors with terminator heads looks boss. Sharp looking army ! -W
  8. Great piece! I think the Sons of Medusa color scheme is a solid choice. The weathering all around is really great. Maybe you could experiment with a thin dark wash on the floor just to make the marine pop out even more? -W
  9. Thanks barry_hhh - great idea will look into it. I've been keeping my eye out on the Ol' eeebays for terrain bits as well to start filling out the wide open spots. -W
  10. Man, your green stuff work is CLEEEAAANNN !!! Great job, hope to see more. -W
  11. Pearson73, thank you kindly! -W
  12. Had some fun with some bases today. These are for the sternguard squad, I wanted them to match up with the terminator bases aesthetically since the sterngaurd will be sitting opposite the termies on the same level of the display. Also, I need to get back to painting lol, so much work to do on the actual marines. I guess it's a WIP thread anyhow, lol... -W
  13. Your Captain Beshop conversion is absolutely stellar. Well done ! -W
  14. Work on the display continues. Lots of plasticard layers to kind of make the big sections more in line with the GW terrain pieces. Not sure how much more detail I'm gonna add but I think if I put paint on what's done here it would blend pretty good. Gonna def need to fill in gaps and finish the angled edges with green stuff, but I think it's gonna be cool. -W
  15. Thank you Bjorn. I think the fluff behind this display will be something like the very upper levels of the governor's spire on a recently pacified Hive World or so. Stronger than simple stone but not a crazy adamantium fortress... I guess that would be Ferrocrete or plasteel, yeah? -W The Traitor, thank you kindly. -W
