I have completed my February pledge! Great work ya'all! Keep it coming. Moravec, Legionaries Aspiring Champion, The Unchained, Warpborn Warband -
An album for my Renegades and Heretics, Night Lords, Death Guard, World Eaters, and other Chaos armies

Kruelak is wonderful! Wouldn't the Night Lords have kept the Navigator alive as a torture victim? At some point in the future perhaps you could crucify a living Navigator victim bit onto Kruelak's back. That's what I did this weekend with Nacht, my Night Lords WiP Noise Marine He's the one in the rear with the crucified victim on his back.

Looks like a fun list. Whenever I play against someone who has a "kill pledge-based" army rule, it always seems more trouble than it is worth. And the Court of the Phoenician has some very fun strats, as you note. -

I finished base-coating Moravec, Chaos Marine Aspiring Champion. Next step is to add oil washes. -
Hello everyone, last weekend I attended a very fun doubles tournament at a local gaming store, Mox Boarding House in Bellevue, Washington. I've attended these events in the past and they are always very fun, casual events. The schtick for the event is random pairing. So you get some fun and goofy matchups. I've attended this event a few times in the past, here is a link to a previous Mox random doubles event: My list Here are some photos and comments on the event The Green and Red Line: Nids Allied with Chaos Marines As always, you get some hilarious matchups. In this case, one side was loyalist marines allied with Green Nids and the other side was heretic marines allied with Nids. Green Nids Fight Green Nids It was funny, and a bit confusing, how similar the two opposing green Nid armies looked. In the 2nd game, I was allied with Alpha Legion. This is a pairing that makes sense as Chaos warbands do sometimes form alliances of convenience. But in Game 3 that same Alpha Legion player was one of my opponents. So the alliance fell apart for some reason, which is also pretty typical. Alpha Legion and Space Wolves charge Blood Howl, Possessed Squad War Never Changes, Havocs Squad, chips some wounds off a Knight And the Knight promptly crushes my Chosen Squad, the Company of Eight A Ghostkeel causes havoc in the Alpha Legion/Blood Wolf backfield My ally and I spent much of the game chasing after this very wounded battle suit. It caused much mayhem before dying to Alpha Legion firepower. Ghost Wolves bikers vroom around As always my bikers were very useful support units. Legionaries and Cultists bounce off of Deathwing In the end, the Blood Wolves went 1 and 2. I'm happy that one of my opponents in the game I won was a Space Wolves army. It's quite appropriate for the Blood Wolves to go against Space Wolves, since they are fallen Space Wolves themselves. We have punished the loyalist dogs for their hypocrisy! It was a wonderful event! As is typical with the Creations of Bile, I really enjoyed the various buffs and strats granted by Creations of Bile. It's probably my favorite CSM detachment. And after using this detachment on and off for over a year, I finally rolled the +2 inches of movement buff. It proved very useful. I'm wondering how a Creations of Bile army would do if it were paired up with the new Huron and Masters of the Maelstrom. The melee ability and buffs of these 2 new units would be a nice and much-needed shot in the arm. Plus, Huron and his retinue would benefit from whatever my Creations of Bile enhancements I roll up. In other news, I finished base-coating Moravec, a Chaos Aspiring Champion in my Warpborn CSM warband. Enjoy the photos! The Blood Wolves, "The warp saved us."

The chaining of the door is brilliant. I might have to borrow this idea when I assemble "Bloodmaw," a semi-possessed Night Lords Predator Destructor later this year.

I second a Defiler. That would be a wonderful conversion!

Grotsmasha, nah, it's brush-on white primer I sleepily applied on Friday morning. Then I stopped when I realized, "Oh wait. She still doesn't have a head. Why am I priming a model before I've assembled it?" -
Hello everyone, I hope ya'all had a good Valentine's Day! I got in a game with my Chaos Marines earlier this month. I brought a Creations of Bile detachment using some Blood Wolves and some Night Lords. I was up against a very nice Blood Angels player. Army List: House Nightfall and the Blood Wolves Army List: The Blood Angels The board at deployment (pre-game scout moves) The Death Company with jump packs approaches my biker screen 2 Squad of Possessed, Blood Howl and 2nd Claw, move up on my right This was the first time I've used 2 full Squads of Possessed. I was quite impressed with how they served as a force multiplier. Squad Bloodtongue, Legionaries, interrupt and chip away at some Blade Guard before dying The Valkyries Warp Talons Squad shred the Blade Guard but get seriously whomped on by the Justiciar This plucky Justiciar kept tanking attacks by multiple units all game. Probably the BA MVP. Ragnarok and FierFracture, Predator Destructors, set up a base of fire assisted by Esmerelda, Warpsmith I really should paint up a couple of Predator Autocannon turrets in Blood Wolves colors. Eradicators eradicate some Company of Eight, Chosen Squad Decimus, Night Lords Chaos Lord, vs. Eradicators Decimus managed to survive on 1 wound for quite awhile. Huzzah! 2nd Claw fails a charge and hangs out in some ruins It was a close game up til late game and then the BA started to win. There were a couple of charges I failed in late game that were telling. However, my opponent's armor save dice were cold in the early game. My opponent was very nice and I learned some of the intricacies of the charge phase from my opponent. It was a fun and casual game of 40K on a Saturday morning and afternoon. Yay! I'm really loving the Creations of Bile. It grants a nice bit of oomph to infantry-heavy CSM armies. I rolled +1 WS and +1 strength and these buffs were quite useful. My MVP would have to be Blood Howl, a squad of 10 Possessed. They took out various Blade Guard and characters and dominated the right flank. Despite being freshly painted they did wonderfully! And here are some work in progress photos As an aside, I'm rather like the rules for the new infiltrating Red Corsair Raiders, Huron Blackheart, and the Masters of the Maelstrom. The latter two units seem a bit over-powered. But since I lose most of my games I probably don't need to worry about adding a couple of OP units to my lists. I really look forward to trying out these units and detachments later in the spring. I'll be sad losing Dark Pacts if I take the Renegade Warband Detachment. But gaining advance and charge army-wide is probably worth losing Dark Pacts. Enjoy the photos! The Blood Wolves, "Khorne will rule Fenris soon." House Nightfall Night Lords, "Ave dominus nox!" The Warpborn, "Death to the Dark Mechanicum!"

Perhaps a nice bit of rusted jewerler's chain hanging off the hook on the back right? Excellent kitbash by the way!
