Greetings! Long time lurker of this part of the forum. I have my lair in the Dark Angel-section, but I've been working on various projects unrelated to them. Since I'm not interested to keep making new threads for every new faction I delve into, I'll concentrate them all in this place. Expect projects on Dark Angels, Consecrators, Goliaths (Necromunda), Guardsmen (KT) and some Imperial Knights (for fun). More projects depend on how bad my self control is. Since it's the start of a new thread, some pictures of the current collection are in order. I'll post them up when I get the chance to make some pictures. I'm a mediocore painter and a terrible photographer, so please don't be too harsh First up, the lads who started it all. I haven't painted Dark Angels for years. My side project of the Consecrators grew out to become my main project, dwarfing my current force of the Green Lads. They're still in my collection as extra's, but they're more or less finished, since I have no intention to paint more Dark Angels. My very first model! All of the Greenwing. And my Deathwing More to come!

Hey everyone, I am starting to get into genestealer cults and was planning on doing a heavily mechanized list with lots of goliath trucks and using my own custom cult. But I have found a weird rules interaction that I can't seem to find an answer to online or in the rule book. So because the goliath truck has open-topped rule I was planning on have my mining lasers & seismic guns shoot out the back in the early game while the trucks get the units into position. What I am trying to figure out is how does this work with cross fire. Do I have to shoot both the transport, and the unit in the transport at the same target for crossfire? As well I can't figure out if I can have the truck shoot at the target first to give it a crossfire marker with its autocannon, and then have the unit inside shoot at the same target with the benefit of the marker (sort of like some cult tracer fire). The way I am reading it seems like they are treated as separate units as I have found only the data sheet has any reference to how the rule works (listed below). I was hoping to get some other people to chime in on this as this seems like a fairly unconventional list but in playtesting I have been having an awesome time with it. Open-topped: In your Shooting phase, units embarked within this TRANSPORT can be selected to shoot with; measure distances and draw line of sight from any point on this TRANSPORT when doing so. If this TRANSPORT made a Normal Move, Advanced or Fell Back this turn, embarked units are considered to have done the same. While this TRANSPORT is within Engagement Range of any enemy units, embarked units cannot shoot, except with Pistols.

Heyo folks. Me again. Back for another round of showing up and then leaving without warning, right? Well, let's see. Today's going to kind of be a bit of a special case because my local store owner commissioned me to take care of this little beauty for him. Safe to say I'm really, honestly excited and I can't wait to dig in. Only stickler here, boys and girls is that I've got a week to complete this entire set and have it ready for demo games next Saturday. With that in mind, this is going to kind of be a one and done blog, keep it short and sweet but I was hoping to share with you good folks and hope some of you might enjoy it. Not feeling super great tonight so this will probably be the only thing I'll post for the evening but keep your eyes peeled, because I'm going to post at least one update every day for the week. Let's do this, lads!

Welcome to the Underhive! This will be a Work in Progress Topic for any and all fraters who wish to put their workings on their gangs here to show others their accomplishments and also to perhaps inspire and encourage others in their own pursuit of gang Domination in the UnderHive. I look forwards to seeing what the Community here can produce for this awesome come back Game!. Please feel free to start posting your WiP's... Mithril

**** Some images have been lost from this thread and the replacements may not be 100% like for like with the originals. **** Hi, and welcome to my miserable corner of the Underhive. This is where I am planning to catalogue my efforts at painting and building for Necromunda. I thoroughly enjoyed the original as a teenager and even managed to track down my old Escher Gang - The Bitch Fighters, in all their badly painted glory (I remember being very proud of them at the time) some of which may yet re-materialise after a bath in a stripping solution. Needless to say, I like others am really impressed with the new version and vision for Necromunda, so I couldn't resist picking it up. I have been asking progress on the contents of the box, I built the gangs stock to start with, although I have an extra box of Escher gang to use for a more bespoke gang in due course. I also saw a nifty idea in a Facebook group for using timber to build some simple, cheap Zone Mortalis walls, however I am trying to elevate the idea by applying plenty of texturing and detail to the timber. This far I have been working on getting the box models to a serviceable level of painting, before I go back and add final details later - a process I have found much easier with the Goliath's than the Escher which have so much more going on detail wise that they demand a more thorough paint job. I have always been prone to wandering around staring at bits of industrial units, vent units, manhole covers, and so on so I may include photos of such things amid my progress to show what I am hoping to achieve. I don't have many photos easily accessible since a mobile broke on me, but I will try and rescue them in due course. That said I do have one or two pics that I will share for the time being. These are my first Goliath, as you can see I have gone for a fairly classic theme with him: Images Removed[/b} The plan is to go back and highlight the reds, metallics and blacks a bit more and add in details like the stimm units on their backs, and their bracers. But I reckon they are a solid start. This is mostly basecoat and washes for now, some minimal highlights to the grey trousers. I will try and dog up photos of the other things I have been working on and post them up too. In the meantime let me know what you think.
