I just want to post some things that I forgot to post, that were lying around for quite a time and so on. I will work on his head and paws, turning him into more lion-like machine. Also the chassis is not that great - it seems for me too roundish for a standard csm-design, so I will make him a bit more angular. I will also add cockpit to it's back and, probably, a couple of turbines, so that it will look like a former aircraft. Anyways, what do you think of it's skin? I painted it with washes and drybrush only, and I am not so sure if it turned out good. Nevertheless, thanks for dropping in guys. I've been trying to work out how to make a helblade alike using the storm talon and hel drake kits as a base. But as of yet its just a pile of bits that I keep trying to combine to get what I want. It would be easier to just use the helblade from FW but I fancy having a go at a tournament and the rules don't allow "counts as" but I can have conversions. A model like that is the ideal sort for drybrushing and washes :) It might turn out to be a bit trickier when you run into long, smooth surfaces though. My only nitpick would be the strap on the champ, the way he has it slung if he dropped his right arm the gun would just slide off. Other than that, ace work as always! But spawns doesn't seem to have lots of plain surfaces to paint, so I think I won't run into this kind of problems with them. NightHunters The point here is, I'm not entirely sure how good it will turn out. As I've said, I will add more like lion-paws, and most likely his limbs will be stretched out, like he's making a jump. Much will depend on details though.
