It's really easy. You put the stuff in boiling water till it goes translucent. Squash it about a bit then push it onto the detail. Leave it to cool and you have your mould.

Loving them, I really do prefer tartaros to cataphractii armour and these are a perfect example as to why: the amount of movement compared to cataphractii, it makes it feel like a more logical suit to wear rather than the bulky and slow cataphractii.

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention, those green gems looks great!

ETL VOW 2: Update 1

 

Here is the first WIP shot of my second ETL vow. So far I've put on the base coats and given them a wash. Next up, I need to make a start on the highlighting... I'm pretty short on time at the moment, but hopefully I'll be able to make some more progress on the weekend.
