Oh I am a sucker for an Anvilus backpack

Oh yeah, it's a neat detail and really fun to look at some details and trace the origins to their heresy era parts - can't wait for the multi-part kit ^.^

Looks great.

I like his horns. Different from the usual chaos marines.

Thanks buddy - if you look you will see that the horns are actually forming some kind of nurgle rune :D

Anyways - some group shots for my guys so far. I'm gonna be away for some vacations during most of August, and wish everyone of you a nice summer :)

Looking great Atia! I still think painting that loincloth white/cream was a missed opportunity, though ;)

I know I've said so before, but seeing those converted Gal Vorbak again reminds me of how cool they are! Thumbs up! :)

Death Guard look ace.

Going to side with K-Sci here. The bell guy could do with a different colour for the cloth across his front as it is fairly monochrome

Am thinking a leather like colour, maybe like a butchers apron??

Slap a narthecium on him and you have an ace corrupted primus medicae for 30K?

Enjoy your holiday time :)

Huh, I was actually referring to the guy with the plasmagun, but now that you mention it...good point!

That being said, the bigger tabard on the Blightbringer can probably work in that colour, but I'd suggest some stains, maybe a tiny bit of blood in one of the corners, stuff like that.

Fantastic work Atia!! I love the colour of the armour and the chipping :tu:

The only critique that I have is that the colour of the 'cloth' areas (the Blightbringer's tabard and the Lord's cloak etc) are too similar to the colour of the power armour. At a glance it can be difficult to see where the armour ends and the cloth begins. A different colour such as red/green/black would have been a nice contrast.

Looking forward to some more :)

Hey Guys :)

Back from a week-long festival!

I know what you all mean with the contrast on the pictures, but in real life it's a subtle difference between "creamy armour" and "white clothing". At the end of the day, it's also a time thing to be honest - I'm working with quite a lot of filters/washs over the white basecoat, as I want to finish quite a few of these guys within a short time period (and I still feel faaaaar too slow). I also have some Harlequins, Talons of the Emperor, 30k Thousand Sons and Orks waiting to be painted. That said, I will try to work a bit more green (maybe a green stripe in the middle of white clothing?) into the next guys - thanks for the feedback

Lovely work! I love the plague bearers!

Thanks buddy :blush.:

Little update on what I'm currently working:

Atia goes over how she paints her Death Guard on the previous page, Uprising, just before the end (23rd post). :tu:

I'm not keen on Death Guard but yours are looking great, Atia! And I look forward to seeing you delve into the world of Necromunda whenever they release that. :tu:

Hey Guys :)

Back from (another) festival  .

Looking good. The Sergeant looks really :censored: ed up(in a good way :smile.:). Definately going to bring terror to the poor defenders on Terra.

Thanks buddy - and if he's terrifying, just wait for good ol' Morty

I love your plague marines scheme, how did you paint them(step by step)? They are simply amazing.

Regarding the paint scheme - thank's Dosjetka!

Glad you like my guys - for Necromunda, the core set is somewhere set between last two months of 2017 and early '18 afaik. Shadespire should be before that though!

I really like that purple contrast colour for the cloth, don't see that often.

Thanks! :blush.:

The Sergeant is btw finished now:

Looks great. What colours did you use to paint the flies wings?

Thanks buddy!

Nurgle Babyfly wings:

- White Primer

- Thinned down Ulthuan Grey

- Glaze with thinned down Vallejo Off White

- Glaze with thinned down Baharoth Blue mixed with lots of white

- Wet blending with more and more white

- Shadows with thinned down Forgeworld Air Calth Blue

- White highlights

They look great! :ohmy.:

Glad you like them :)

Lol which festival was that then?

These death guard look great. Nice and gritty, as the should be. The purple robes are a nice contrast too!

We usually go to Goa Festivals, this time it was quite a mainstream one called "Frequency".

Also - thanks! The creamish off-white goes well together with both the purple and green in theory, and it worked out well for me! Can't wait to try it on Morty *_*

That group shot is looking better and better with each addition.

Still looking sublime!

Thanks guys :blush.:
