I figure the Leviathan will have Init over Pookie, and 4 attacks on the charge with 2 HoW.

Each of its claw attacks that go through the 4++ turn into d3 additional wounds.

I think if it doesn't take Pookie in a fight, it'll certainly hurt the fat bastard

Lol. Uber Pooks would sit on a wolf lord i suspect. Regular Pookie would be down to rolls i think. Even I have to admit, it sounds like a 60 40 fight in the leviathan's favor.

Depends. Are you running a dual claw leviathan?

40k leviathans do not get the grav bombard & wolf lords on thunderwolves arent around in 30k (yet).

Hopefully 30k won't get any Thunderwolves. My 40k army already has 40+ of them

 

But as wolf lord don't exist in proper 30k, I'm referring to 40k.

I will say I've nearly paragon bladed Pookie 3 times, only for the Endurance granted Eternal Warrior to thwart me

The other question is if I will bring daemons or not. I'm really hoping to get some support squads done between now and the game, but if I don't i may need to bring the warp spawned hate to change my list.

I decided that while swords are cool, I REALLY loves axes. 

 

Wolf Lords deserve axes. For now, it'll be a paragon blade. Let's hope FW gives the Rout some loving.

other than that, just cleaning up the Contemptors and looking at the leviathan, trying to figure out what seems off about it. Then it's decal time.

The axe was all dry brushing, layers of  sky blue and white, a quick hit of enchanted blue and another layer of white. The enchanted blue was Rx2 advice. 

 orange? the closet to orange is the blood red tassle thingymabobs, but I see how they can come across as orange
