Whirlwind Scorpius' have got barrage weaponry. Or you could go for ultra filth and have a Leviathan Talon with Phoxphex dischargers in there too

Edit: A Master of Signal's orbital bombardment is a barrage too

I originally had a MoS in my list because he is such a useful character for my Raven Guard. Hell, I may just transfer him over.

I havent been overly thrilled with the Scorpius in the few games I used it, but may reconsider. One minus against it is that it's a 1 for 1 selection.

I was debating getting two Achilles Alphas.

I really want to fit the Tyrant Terminators in the list, I just find them so expensive points wise.

With that mohawk he needs 2 weapons called "pity" & "fool" plus some extra bling :smile.:

Looking good you filthy traitor!!

I figure a bionic arm and a thunder hammer should count as two weapons...I mean really, getting punched in the face by a Space Marine with a bionic arm has to be atleast ap5

The bionics are awesome. Are you planning to wash the armor ? It will add depth. :smile.:

oh I definetly plan on doing so. Im still tinkering around a bit with him, seeing what works for me and what doesnt. But it'll happen

Deal  but when Godfrey loses his last wound, I get to replace him in the following turn  with a leviathan dreadnought.

Only if when that happens, I can turn Perturabo into a Daemon Primarch

you picked iron warriors  because you want me to kill them didint you  = n =

I picked them because I wanted to recreate the Iron Cage

More like stand behind a few artillery batteries and shell repeatedly

Why not put the helmet on its side as the profile would be lower?

Silver skull design on the face plate fill in the dead spaces black.

The join line in the heln is a perfect spot for the tooth line.

Could be a cross between a terror mark and the Iron Warrior symbol.

Tell ray Ray I miss him. And that lorgar is a :censored:

I miss him too. Lorgar is a punk.

His work keeps him tied up.

We have a game scheduled for Sunday the 4th. It'll be a welcome return.

I may try that with the helmet.

I may also try the skull design. Metal is fairly forgiving. I am hesitant over my free hand skills, or lack of.

Looking good !

Thanks!

Im having trouble painting hazard stripes across his shoulder pad, keeping them straight and accurate. I may look into other designs, and have been going through the Sternguard sprue for pads that could match the command shoulder pads on display in HH3

also, prepping base decoration for the eventual release of the Rout

Looking forward to the bat rep that will ensue.

I have finally got my first game using 30K rules this Thursday on the 1st.

Khorne Daemon kin... Hoping the guy can't summon Thirsters every second turn!!

try not killing them?

I dunno, RR annoyed me with that crap. I believe you should ignore the Cultists as much as possible, as when they are fleeing they can be removed for a blood point.

It really matters on their list how annoying they can be. Some builds are made just to Oprah Blood points...

WLK

Got an 8k game vs RR this Sunday. Agreed to multiple CADS.

Combined armies comes out to 7,994 points.

-The list is smaller than I'd like, and no Spartans with the Wolves is unusual to me. I'm debating dropping the Vets to upgrade one of the Raiders to a Spartan (i seriously love the model)

-the RG list is basically the same I took against UW, with dropping the Raptor and putting in a second Leviathan+Plasma squad being the real changes. So far I'm just not impressed by the Raptor, but the list itself did well enough for me to want to try it again

-The Rout...they are here mostly for morale purposes. Last time I fielded them, they got smashed to pieces. Every game before that they've been pretty well savaged. The small squads practically gives away VP to the enemy, but I need to field them and "get my groove back". So I figure the heavy tanks will aid the dropping RG, who can then help the Rout. Synergy and all that crap.

-Now I just need to make sure I have enough pods!

All for now.

WLK

Okay maybe not nearly as difficult as I  thought it would be.

for the upcoming game, I made a change to the Wolves. I dropped the Vets and bumped one of the Terminator squads to 10 strong in a Spartan. I just love the look of those things.

and proof i've been doing something. This is a mock up for the Iron Warriors

I am wanting to lean towards terminators also. Esecially after seeing how easy my vets got splattered by battlecannons.

The terminator army would at least grant some kind of save.

Plus Spartans rock.

Planning a second one myself

Yeah, definitely at least try a Terminator army. I'm going to have something like 40+ Terminators for my Imperial Fists by year's end, so I'll probably run the PoTL 2+ spam list at least once. Should be interesting to run. Have yet to get some Spartans, but I expect to come into a fair amount of money pretty soon, so there's a good chance I'll order a couple.

Tyrant Terminator looks to be coming along nicely, WLK. Launcher looks a bit oversize at this stage, but once he gets his shoulder pads the proportions should settle into something acceptable. :)
